So...what do you do when PSPgrader doesn't allow you to press the Official eBoot 5.00 Loaded buttom, or the download button?

FUUUUUUU
Got a PSP 2K.
Firmware 5.55
Data Code: 7D so I know it's hackable.
Trying to open this darn Phat battery and I can't.

Anyone know where I could get a pandora battery online and fast?

Or any tips to open this battery

You use Rains UltraLite MMS Maker

Update to 6.xx
Use Half Byte loader to run Hellcats Recovery Flasher
???
Profit

Edit - on thinking no kernel access may mean lack of profit, but hey, worth a shot?

Haha, thanks. I'll try.
Shame my internet speed is crappy today.

If it doesn't work, hopefully someone will tell me of a website to order off.

Edit: I have no chance of loading that video, so I'm guessing it works

Text is best...

Read the comments here (and for the lazy amongst you just Ctrl F Recovery)

Just make sure you persevere and possibly try the various iterations of HBL.

There is one person claiming he soft modded his battery.
I'll try that on my cousins PSP Phat, if not, I'll PSPident my slim (just in case) and try to downgrade.

There's a billion Pandora Battery conversion homebrews so just try them all. Personally i favour cory's OSPBT but the number different options may be promising.

if i so what this guide says will i have the recovery menu? and does this give me all the features that HRF gives?

You're referring to the recovery menu that will load when booting? Yes, you'll have that.

And HRF?

Oh, I think you can, it just didn't click for me. I haven't actually used it, but unless anyone proves me wrong, I think the basic features might be similar.

Just to be safe, after creating a MMS, you can reformat/delete everything off your MMS to turn it back into a regular Memory Stick?

It's not like it does anything permanent, right?

I want to be sure before I use my new memory card that I'd rather use for storing games.

Once CFW is installed, you don't need to keep the files on the Memory Stick, no. Even so, you can use one of the MMS programs to recreate the files if you needed to.

Sorry but I got a sort of noobish question. When you make the hard-modded pandora battery say for the psp phat, would it always be a pandora battery and you could never use it as a normal battery again? Unless maybe you solder it?
