i have 3.17 OFW on a slim 2003 and i have 2 phat psp's on CFW 3.71M33-4 ( jap 1000 and uk1003 )

anyway i ordered a phat battery from ebay , worked my way through the guides !

i got this error at address 0x27
didnt think much of that carried on !
took out memstick and battery and put it into slim , ....................and nothing , yes i pressed x and had the mem stick in !
still not that worried , now thinking i cant do it with this battery , but hey i'll just use one of the sony one's out of one of the phat psp's !
now the problem i have is NONE of the 3 phat batteries i have will work in the slim psp !

so my original plan has went tits up , any ideas , thoughts , links ........................rope lol

It's a fake battery with no EEPROM....i.e. non pandorable.

silly question ....are any of the phat batteries an actual PANDORA TOOL battery or are they just normal phat batteries??

you don't actually mention that you got a PANDORA battery only a phat battery?

are you trying to turn a normal phat battery into a PANDORA battery via the software hack?

If none of them are a PANDORA tool battery then you can either MAKE one by trying to hard mod one of the batteries you have or get a proper tool battery

In general fake batteries can't be hard modded as they have no EEPROM chip. Just buy a Datel Tool Battery.

like i said xist , i thought it was the battery ! so i used one out of the sony batteries out of the phat psp's

im now at the stage , when i push left i get this screen :

install 4.01 m33
install 4.01 ofw
nand operations
hardware info
test m33
shutdown
reboot device

which i used and upgraded both phat psp's to 4.01m33-2 !

and the recovery menu !

but none of the phat batteries are working in the slim ?

I use an official Sony phat battery in my Slim. If it's not working it's a bad battery or a new slim mobo which can't be cfw'd.

(Although this seems odd given the age of the PSP and the fact that it appears to work on your other PSP's...might i suggest you try an alternative MMS maker?)
