Hacking PAL or NTSC ISOs for best picture?

I have a UK PAL Wii (4.2E), connected by official component cable.

Will it make any difference to picture quality using a PAL ISO vs an NTSC ISO?

when using backup loaders to play your games, every progressive mode is treated as NTSC 480p. apparently there was ( and probably still is) a bug in libogc regarding the pal progressive modes, so when backup loaders are loading the game and checking out what video settings your wii has and what cable you have, if it sees any progressive mode, it will use NTSC 480p.
