just try it.
If there is an update on the disc, you can still avoid it by turning off your Wii.
The you should brickblock that iso.
If there is no Update....cheer

I have a PAL Wii with firware 3.2E, wiikey with latest update, and just tried MP3(PAL) for the first time.. and it tried to update, what the hell?

I tried running a brickblocked version but it gives the black screen.

I tried running the normal version(with the regular update partition) through GeckoOS and it runs fine without any noticable problems so far.

I'm probably going to keep running it thrught GeckoOS unless someone tells me it's fine to do the update. I did a quick google but most results are about NSTC versions of MP3 on PAL consoles. But one person said updating their 3.1E PAL wii with PAL MP3 caused a brick.

Any chance of that actually happening to me as well?
