Well i just updated my wii to 3.0E using the autoupdate, got the extra channels and dragged them to the far right of the menu where i'll never see them again. The game is buggy though. For some reason with 2D menu's you need to click about 2 cm higher then normal.

Change the video format to 60hz 480i i the Wii Settings. The game doesnt work well with 50hz

dam, wish I read this thread before I went ahead and brickblocked the iso without making any duplicates, my question is, Am I still able to run this brickblocked disc update and be able to play the game? (I dont care for the double channels btw)
Also, If I was to patch regionfrii to the iso as well, would that work better? Could I still do the 15% pullout method this way?

if you have a modchip that enables region free, regionfrii will do nothing at all, just delete it ;p and read the thread for the rest of the info

Another success here with the Regionfrii & Wiibrickblock ISO method....and usually, I'm the sort of person who would brick a Wii just by looking at it!

No duplicate channels, no hangups or funny business. The game just works! (3.0E, Wiikey with 1.3 update, PAL Wii)

I haven't tried that method yet. I would just wait for the creator to modify his wiibrickblocker so that I can skip the unplug method. Hopefully, he'll be successful soon

I've updated my wii to firmware 3.1J two days ago. After the update, I try to play the metroid prime game. It asks for update and I tried the unplug technique after 15%. After that, the games work perfectly.

Here's an interesting observation i made regarding MP3C-PAL, if anyone has any thoughts:

I have firmware v2.1E on my Wii. I inserted MP3C and it had to "update". I now _still_ have v2.1E. So i guess it didn't update any firmware but just copied some files needed for play or sth.

Same for me. I had 2.2E, and now I'm _still_ on 2.2E. What was all that fuss about the 3.0 update when the NTSC version was out?

I read many users who have bricked their japanese wii were saved by Mario galaxy Japan version. I suppose Mario Galaxy (Pal) version would do the same with the pal console

Hi guys

can someone help me i have downloaded the SMG and used regionfrii and brickblock on it, now i have realised that i had to burn two copies one with regionfrii and one with brickblock.

is there anyway to reverse brick block so i can run the update swap method to get rid off double channels or do i have to download the game again.

Hey guys, I need some help.
I just got my backup now for this game, it's a PAL version of it. I have the newest firmware to this date on my PAL Wii.
If i run this game now, will it try to update, or will it do anything horrible to my Wii?
Hoping for a fast answer, thanks
