Now the ESA called the police on OUYA.

I love my OUYA, but even I find this picture hilarious.

The truth is that it wasn't the ESA who called the police. It was Julie. She wanted to get some more people to the OUYA booth, and all she could think of was dialing 911.

No prob! BTW Bamdai Namco is currently in talks with Ouya

Yeah...sources say the talks went something like "get the hell off our parking space"

...

Sorry. But I really couldn't resist. C'mon...what do you expect? Advertising in the parking space? Jeez...that's almost as pathetic as not even going there and just broadcasting it from home. ;)

While I like the idea of Ouya showing its console around, this is just plain stupid from their part. If they want to attend E3, they could just do it like the other devs and publishers. If not as a single entity, why not hop on the bandwagon of a larger group, someone who could make games for the platform.

"We have the right to be at E3 just like everyone else!". Sure. Just take part in all the costs too like everyone else participating. It can be done in many ways, but this isn't the way I'd want to go around. Also the beer would be better spent in a Tech Uni campus since students there usually have a knack for coding and always appreciate free stuff (be it beer or a console).

I agree. A parking lot is what it is - a place where you park. It's not a stage and the fact that the OUYA crew bought a few spaces there doesn't mean that they should use those spaces against their original purpose (meaning for parking) unless their permit specifies otherwise.

It did, or else they would have been told to leave by the police. It's fairly common in the US to see this sort of setup at major events.
