Just to make sure before I upgrade to 9.2 again, do I need to wait for the flashes on the web browser to stop (if they do) or can I turn off the 3DS afterwards? The a9f.bin file is not empty.

well I can't share my a9lh.3dsx because it's console specific requiring your otp
the reinand files are from rei's pastebin and the a9lh file is from the same thread page 193.



yeah, I have my menuhax setup to boot to sysnand when I hold L. since my sysnand is 9.0 that's all there is to that.

Might be a dumb question, but menuhax will still work when you're using arm9? I've currently got Rei running on sysnand 9.2 with no emunand. If I could somehow boot into sysnand without Rei I could run decrypt9/emunand9 which is what I'm trying to do (cannot run it under Rei due to FW version).

I can make an .img from my SDCARD with an emunand and you can restore it and inject the nand.bin on pc

Oh and when on 2.1, I think that it doesn't really matter anymore if you are on N3DS, 2DS or 3DS.

Yeah I have my emunand backup. I assumed the issue was my Sdcard doesn't have the hidden partition. I thought that partition needed to be created via emunand9. If it can be done on a PC then all the better. Will have a look.

1 more thing is it ok if i used a seperate sd card thats not the one i normally use to get the otp
such as using a 4 gig one cause i dont wanna backup my stuff

Install sysupdater.cia and run it from the home screen.

EDIT: Nevermind if you saw my confusion with a9f.bin. I figured out that it's a non-Cubic Ninja method, and that I was confusing hex with dec (as far as the size of the key)

I installed it in sysnand copied it to emunand and tinyformated sys...testing if it works

I taked a look to the New 3DS guide and yes,it needs some trickery but...
For anyone who quoted me:
