The hex editing was definitely correct. The downgrade seemed to work too. I have no idea. I'm going back to 9.2 now and I'll try again tomorrow.

I used window 3dsfat tool V2 (it's the oldest avail ver I think.)

2DS Will probably not work. Don't attempt. An update is incoming to make it more stable.

I kinda ended up not listening and tried it anyway. On the plus side, the 2.1.0-4E package is good and the process works.
I do have one suggestion, though: Instead of telling people to delete their extdata folder, why not tell them to turn on the console with the SD card out instead?
I tried it and it worked out for me. I just popped it back in after entering the browser to run the OTP dumper and everything went back to normal as soon as the NAND backup was restored.

Alright Noob question coming: how do you flash emunand to sysnand? I thought injecting emunand to sysnand would brick your system.

I might try this. In your opinion, what's the brick chance?
