Opening of app causes restart and controller disconnection (loader gx)

Everything works fine, the menu hui, and disc games I insert, but any of the games I open on loafer gx causes the screen to go black and console to restart. Any suggestion on how to fix this?

where are your games placed, on what media and in what format??

what version of GX are you using?
