Hi everyone,

I have just created a simple website that will tell you if your switch is patched or not by checking its serial number, you can find it at ismyswitchpatched dot com (as a new member I cannot use hyperlinks)
It works by inserting the first 10 characters of the serial number, it is not necessary to insert the full serial.

The hosting cost is close to 0 for me, so I am planning to keep it up and running running as long as there are people using it :)

In case this is considered spam, I apologize and ask moderators to delete this thread.

Very good!

Will add this to the guide :)

For XAK(Kor only unit), XAK10000~XAK10005 are not patched.
XAK10006~ are patched.

Well what do you mean by safe? but you CAN mod it according to the site:

this is similar to this?
doesn't hurt to have multiple options for checking serials.

Yes both the websites should work similarly, ssnc seems pretty cool, I wanted to add barcode scanner as well, but I couldn't get accurate results (I was trying to use QuaggaJS) :)

It is simply because the link here uses http, but https is supported as well and you shouldn't get that warning :)

Hmm it appears the http is an outdated version, the https has the bar at the top added. You might want to take down the http because of like security concerns, but either way thanks for the site.

Edit: nevermind im blind

Thanks anyways for reporting your concern, I have enabled automatic redirection of http to https :)

I stumbled on a Xaj70041353
I tried it on your site and the other checker.
Both brought up warnings.
I bought it anyway as price was good.
It was unpatched so it was probably just on the cusp. Wasnt sure if it was helpful info so thought id share but i imagine its hit or miss. Your site is great. .Thanks for making things so easy.

Hi,

I'm not very tech savy and honestly being on a website like this confuses me like my bipolar disorder but i got a switch with serial XAW40003186646 with firmware 6.0.1 I'm really confused on whether it's patched or not. Can anyone help me? :(
