    Some free security software:
    AVG Free
    MalwareBytes
    SUPERAntiSpyware
    SpyBot - Search & Destroy

I use these to clean up computers alot... Between all of them, they have saved ~80% of the computers I have used them on (the others had to be backed up, formatted, and Windows reinstalled)

    Hope this helps [IMG]

You can add to your list :

    * http://virusscan.jotti.org/ multiscanner ( Like Virustotal, Jotti returns scan results for several different scanners. The scan engines used by Jottie differ from those used by Virustotal and thus it's often worthwhile to use both. Detection only)

    * http://camas.comodo.com/ Comodo instant malware analysis ( they offer a good and complete free security suite too try the fresh one without crappy live support here : http://forums.comodo.com/news-announcement...d-t57051.0.html )

    * http://www.threatexpert.com/ ( an advanced automated threat analysis system designed to analyze and report the behavior of computer viruses, worms, trojans, adware, spyware, and other security-related risks in a fully automated mode )
