Android On android, is it better to use a PS3 or Wii controller?

Hi guys.
I've been wanting to try out some emulators on my very average Samsung A6, but I can't stand the touch controls, compared to traditional controllers. So I thought of using some controller that I have lying around. As of now, I've got a PS3 and a Wii with a nunchuck or classic controller (and also a wii u gamepad). Wich one would be easier for me to set up and use? Speaking of emulators, which ones would you recommend for these types of controllers?

Good luck getting the Wii nunchuck to work if you have any OS over 4.4 Kitkat. Ps3 controller works fine with some work.

The HORI Pokkén Controller wired (OTG) works wonders.

Although i do love the Wii Remote, it really isn't suited for gaming on the go.

if you already have them you should try and see whats more comfortable for you, i personally use a dualshock 4 on the rare ocasion i play mincraft PE (when i forget my laptop but have my ds4), in my experience with a ds3 on a friend's home they feel identical except for touchpad, because ds3 does not have one, TL;DR, try both and use what you like the most

Tanks guys. Playing DraStic on a DS3 with an otg on my Samsung note8 works like a charm!
I can't find my micro sd otg cable though so I can't play on the j6 for now.

Although you should be able to set up up with bluetooth just fine

I tried a PS4 DS4 (2016) controller I bought and it works perfectly with Android via Bluetooth. Home Button + Share and then it shows up on Android Bluetooth options.

I have to say, it's really comfortable holding it.

I use a ps4 controller (2016) on my phone (Motorola Moto G7 Power) is top heavy.

For Retro Emulators, i would recommend 8bitDo N30 plus controller.
Best experiences for me.

Xbox One S controller is the best imo (I'm very biased) because it just werks.

If you're rooted with Magisk, you can install the 1Controller module and use just about any controller without issue.

I had some credit and bought six axis tool. I already had rooted my tablet. Root access is needed to change Bluetooth protocol. The ps3 controller is so nice!

Been using the PS3 and Xbox One controllers on my OP7 Pro, but I have to say that the Xbox One controller is definitely the better and easier option because of Bluetooth support.
