Hardware old 3ds touch screen and old 2ds touch screen the same?

Quick question for those in the know. are old 3ds touch screens the same as old 2ds touch screens.

size and cable position?

I have a few old ones lying about for 3ds and I don't like buying new aftermarket ones, as the always seem abit low on quality.

Just the touch screen, I'm aware the LCD is one big screen.
