In system it says im running 8.0.1 ReiNX but I can't get the homebrew menu to start in anyway.
The album just starts normally.

Press R when launching Album?

Is NSPs refusing to run a common thing in 8.x? I reverted back to 7.x because most games wouldn't run. Even legitimate games. Strangely, a couple games did run. /shrug

i just updated my reinx to 2.2.1 but im unable to use the feature of reboot into rcm without reloading payload, i did the procedure of replacing the secmon.bin into the reinx folder of my sd card for the exosphere one and rename it, but when i reboot my console i always have to reload the payload with my dongle, what am i missing here?

You need to grab the latest master commit of rnx_mitm. Power off is working, reboot had a bug in the code. Either that or ask lookye in reinx discord for his build of the kip

- hold R + click album = launch homebrew

There is something new called the sept folder? What does this do?

But more importently how do I enter RCM again to eject my SD card?
Because when I choose reboot now it just boots sept and then reinx again without entering RCM.

I need RCM to eject my sd card. :/

Sept gets the keys to boot 7.0 and up
If you have autorcm you can just power off the switch

Ok seems to wor fine now but got another issue. Every game I try to install with goldleaf or tinfoil on SD gives me this error:

failed to open the meta NCA CNMT NCA 0x299002

EDIT: needed to update goldleaf to 0.5

Anyway is there an update for tinfoil?

Yes and no.

The original Dev and tinfoil project was abandoned at 0.2.1 and then picked back up and split into two different projects by 2 diff devs.

I'm also trying to find a way to switch it to where i have to hold down R to access the HB menu so changing the behaviour but when i go follow the instructions on how to do it online i dont have the hbl-config.ini file

You need the legacy files. R for hbl and not r for album, then make a nro fowards for the homebrew you want

Soooo, i just updated (6.2 to 7.something), and found this new thing regarding the latest tinfoil release: it needs a keys.txt to run nsp´s which you can get by using the Lockpick payload. Is there a way to avoid this using the latest Reinx CFW (2.2.1)?? Another nsp installer maybe??

You would only need to take that step if you are manually converting an XCI dump to NSP using the 4NXCI homebrew.

As for installing an NSP, an app like Goldleaf is already fully capable for it.

Thanks man, but when launching the latest tinfoil i get a black screen and after re accesing the album it gives me "Error code: 2347-0009 (0x135b)" and i´m forced to restart the console.

On goldleaf on the other hand i get "failed to open the meta NCA (....):0x29002" (Edit: i could get goldleaf working with the lates version but the problem with tinfoil persists)

Is this tinfoil error common on Reinx?
