I always think that joycons firmware update are on console firmware because I guess do it on air plain mode, but now idk if it's online or not

I thought you were talking about main console firmware not joycon firmware, my bad, I think there is a way to do it offline, but I would need to search

ReiNX does work on 6.0; several others have already confirmed this including Rei himself. The only thing that doesn't work on firmware 6.0 with ReiNX is sleep mode.

Didn't know if ReiNX offer 6.0 support, but if you say that are joycons problem, it's possible that Ninty update the joycons firmware too (yes, the joycons have his own firmware) with the v6.0 to enable some things for the new online service (the led on home button for example), try to update your joycons firmware on controller settings.

If I remember correct, the firmware upgrade of the controllers is an anti-hacking update. So you need some kind of UART for the controllers now. SciresM asked about UART modified controllers not to long ago.

It doesn't stop the Joy Con from working, not from getting into RCM - just doesn't pair properly or something

Yeah, I think if you soldered some pins it starts messing with you.

pretty sure if you use a 1K (maybe 10K?) resistor it doesn't have an issue.. but's that off the top of my head

It will get fixed when it gets fixed. We know there are issues as soon as a firmware comes out, that is why people recommend not to update as soon as a new firmware comes out. If you want sleepmode, either roll back to 5.1 or wait for Rei to fix it
