Why is it taking so long for a weaponized version to come out? I feel like it should have been here last week-end. Maybe I'm just spoiled, but I was expecting something during the first few days after team fail0verflow posted the information... Are the developers scared or something? (doubt it) It feels like some sort of marketing experiment, first with the Switch now with the PS4, to see how many units and bundles are purchased after releasing this type of "news", without actually releasing anything.

These "developers" that keep posting these on Twitter and stuff could be Nintendo/Sony employees posing as hackers.

I think their private script/code contains unpublicized exploits besides those got patched. To have them released, they have to do code-review and remove those contents to prevent Sony to patch them in the future. Also, most of people got jobs that actually pays, I don't think hacking game console is their priority of life. And tweeting about those stuff is quick and satisfying, much easier than release anything. (Besides, they gain basically nothing for those release but bitching by people.)

Wait! I am on 2.57 too and I am not update it until they said we can. They haven't released them just yet.

I didn't do a full check, but seems it's just the linux loader, no exploit implementation of any kind. Also, tho it states that it works only on 4.0x, it has consts for 3.55, 4.07 and 4.55, which kinda means they have done it on 4.07 and 4.55 at least.

Really good news for people on 4.05 and under. Im still stuck on 4.50

But its still nice to get things up and running in the meantime so when 4.50 hax gets released down the road (hopefully) there will be lots of homebrew/options out there.
