Gaming Official Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective Hype Thread

This was an amazing game, but not one I look forward to a sequel to. If there's a crossover with Phoenix Wright/Apollo Justice I'll gladly spaz over it, and if there's a sequel I'll get it. I'm not chomping at the bit to get another version of this game, but just to show how much I enjoyed the game, at the next available opportunity, I'll buy this game because it's really worth it. (Plus my non-flash-cart-owning friends wouldn't play it otherwise.)

Also, if, and only if, a sequel is made, there should be multiple ways of saving the same person and unlockables for each alternative outcome you find.

I actually thought that Wright was in this game, but then I found out it was just a no name detective wearing a blue suit.

I would have liked the game more if they used the same art style as ace attorney so that they could carry over characters such as gumshoe as the hopeless detective, lana skye as the chief of police (i know that isn't right but it is close) and so on. It would work well and i think the game would sell more copies. People would look at it more like a part of the ace attorney series rather than an unknown title.

Shu Takumi made both Ghost Trick and the Ace Attorney series.

This game is great and the ending was shocking I think the art is good as it is, I love it. The only problem with this game is the length, beat it in 2 days.

Is anyone having problems with videos being really weird and shaky/janky on an M3 Real or any other card that needed the AP patch?

Hey if anyone is going through Chapter 5 could you record the brief conversation with the green guy and the police officer about women and how fashion makes them slim and how the green guy commented how he doesn't know the weight of his wife?

I thought that was one of the funnier things I've read

i didn't like it at first because of the controls but after you figure out how he follows you it is quite good and one of the levels i will replay first

When I first started this game...I just wasn't sure. It seemed to start into things a little too quickly for me, and I couldn't see myself enjoying it for long. But about an hour in, I really started enjoying myself. The plot kept me going, and the puzzles got more and more entertaining. Now, deep into the game, I'm loving it.

Wondering if anyone could help me? I have a DSTT running the latest YSMenu. Ghost Trick gives me a LoadErr=4 on a clean and a before mentioned UPS-patched ROM.

Any ideas? (Except "buy another flashcart.")

i hope that they release orchestral CDs like they did for the ace attorney music. They were so good.

it doesn't really count. It just uses the same name. I wouldn't be surprised if the developers just used the same name twice because they just chose the same name twice. Why would they chose a different fav dog name?
