Hacking O3DSXL on 9.2.0U

Hi guys, i just downgraded my o3dsXL from 10.3.0 to 9.2.0.
What should i do now? i saw posts regarding rxTools and Gateway3DS. what's the differences?
I do have a Sky3DS blue button now.

gateway is a flashcart like sky3ds

rxtools is custom firmware

Thanks a bunch, one last question. i know that gateway is able to play the new AP games, how about rxTools? or do i just install the .cia version of them?

.cia version works fine with rxtools.
