Hacking o3ds on firmware 8.1 no browser with gateway/pasta/rxtools

is it possible to run gateway/pasta/rxtools on o3ds firmware 8.1 without internet browser access?

so i grabbed a copy of super smash brothers and updated to 9.2 .still no eshop or internet browser. i am prompted to update via internet if i want browser functions. Miiverse icon is there but prompted to update via internet?

You could run pasta through CN.

Exactly my point, people never seem to remember the browser is needed for any exploit over 5.0 on the o3ds. We need LOZ OOT on the o3ds to fix this

Currently the only option is sky3ds until GW ports the OOT exploit

i brought a used 3ds with firmware 8.1 already installed. it didnt have the browser or eshop. the internet browser icon prompted me to update via internet which current firmware is 9.8. instead i got a copy of ssb3d and updated to 9.2 but still having the same prompt

I know it's a couple weeks later, but I think if I were in this situation, I would downgrade to 4.5 with the gateway dg files, and then upgrade back up to 9.2 properly with 3DNUS.
