The folders to look for such files are
/install/
/usr/import/*/

Note that stuff in /install/ isn't trash but something you downloaded but didn't install. There are users doing this on purpose, so us cleaning /install/ would be a nightmare.
Files left at /usr/import/*/ should never happen, so open a bug report for that in case you know how to recreate.
helping a friend. He says he tried to install a game into NAND but got an error. and corrupted installation files are using space in the nand
what is the path to use in FTP To find & delete those files?

Hi V10lator, found some News concerning Nusspli and the bug I was facing with it (you know, it was running fine in Channel mode but I couldn't close it in HBL, It was freezing on "goodbye") .....So I realize After going to HBL via the MII EDITOR....Nulsspli works fine indeed and I can close.
Soooo the guilty is the "HBL forwarder" I have and that I am using!! So I suppose I must find a way to have an "HBL updated forwarder" somewhere for Tiramisu/Aroma, a new version of hbl2hbc forwarder

I have a question about downloading files to a USB hard drive. How do you delete the install files after you are done? Do I have to redownload it and tell it to delete when it's done? Or do I use a FTP program to delete it manually?

The install files are automatically deleted after installation.

This is stil one of the best homebrew app for WiiU.
I update the Tiramisu version via auto update.
The Aroma version by placing via pc to SD.

But it works great and we can get games for WiiU just like that.

Realy happy with the work of this dev.

@Robru1 What CFW?
I use Aroma, and I will create a syslog for you.

Update:
You really need to help me make that syslog.
When I click on the link I get a browser page full of what I think is Python language.
Am I supposed to copy that and put it in a file? And what do I do with that file after that? Sorry, know quite a bit about software but this is new to me ;)

Robru1 @V10lator

After the latest in app update (1.111), the 'Goodbye' screen no longer closes back to the Wii U menu.

Thank you :)

Some are Kidding me.....I just said that it was due to the hbl2hbc forwarder not compatible with Nnuspli since version around NUSspli 0.101 , Robu, you must be using with the HBL version of Nnuspli, then you close it and that's why is freezes on "Goodbye"......so use the Channel version like me or go to Homebrew launcher via the Mii exploit.....I'm not sure where the bug comes from, maybe due to hbl2hbc forwarder that is compatible with nnuspli, maybe V10lator knows.
Could it be related to the fact that us europeans are in 5.5.5 and Not in 5.5.6?

Thank you for the new Version from NUSspli LITE for AROMA.👌
For the ones that don't know NUSspli Lite: It's NUSspli with the downloading feature removed: https://apps.fortheusers.org/wiiu/NUSspli-Lite

This lite version has been made on request from one of the homebrew appstore team members.

//EDIT: In other words: It's a better WUP Installer (for example it still contains the title database - which has been extended with disc only titles - so try to install a WUDD dump with it: It knows the name and the region of the title you want to install).

Can someone help me, im using japanese 5.5.3J with Tiramisu and ive downloaded the latest
NUSspli-1.112-HBL.zip and using HBL v1.5 by Dimok.

When i try to load it, nothing happens and i get sent back to wii U menu.

EDIT: I just updated to 5.5.5J and still the same thing.
EDIT2: Ive installed Aroma instead and now it works!
EDIT3: I get a installation failed, corrupt file after a successful download :(
EDIT4: Ok, so turns out Aroma doesn't have sigpatches by default, got it working eventually!

Now, is there something like this for vWii?

thank you for the clarification
so it's basically a WUP Installer on steroids.

Hello, I hope you are well, first of all the error that I will tell you about has happened to me with two of the three games that I have installed in NUSspli, to install the games I used the version of the Wii U menu and with the latest version.

I downloaded Pikmin 3 and everything was fine, but when it had to be installed in the last part I got an error saying that the files were corrupted, I tried again and nothing, the same thing happened to me with another game.

The strange thing is that when I installed terraria, it installed correctly, I even played it and it worked fine, so I hope for help

Sorry for my bad english, I'm using the google translate

I just recently picked up a n64 from a garage sell, and looking to mod it and add a HDMI port to it. https://www.ebay.com/itm/3548173115...044&customid=4f3038da73b61afddf7e5e90f4153856

I'd like to find a power strip and HDMI selector built in 1 unit, so I can select which game system I want, and will switch to that hdmi, and power on that plug/power supply only, so don't have all game systems powered all the time, but can't find anything like. May just have to make something myself.

Maybe start a kick starter page and sell them, yea right. Big N would prob C&D me, not anything Big N related, but just because that's what they do nowdays. Then come out with they own in a year or so.

@Xdqwerty, Nice. Which operating system are you installing?

@SylverReZ, windows 10 and some linux distro like linux mint

@Xdqwerty, Yeah, I'd recommend having another OS just in-case you want to play games.

    @SylverReZ, cuz of lag?
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Xdqwerty, No. Whenever you use the internet on Windows, Microsoft collects personal data and installs bloatware that isn't necessarily needed, such as Edge.

I recall @impeeza mentioned some trick about not having bloatware when installing windows where you set up your country to "world" or smh like that

Yes, you can debloat the operating system, but in some cases for me it just reinstalls them.

  • impeeza @ impeeza:
@Xdqwerty yes, when you are installing Windows on the first steps you are asked for your current location, you MUST to select «international» so no bloatware is installed, because the bloatware is location based. if this night I have some time I will setup a VM and take screenshots.
