Yep, the cert I generated with NUSD, and the key I generated with WiiScrubber 1.4's MakeKeyBin.

The files were downloading properly, they just weren't decrypting proplerly. Besides, it was my fault, I was using the wrong common key.

Glad to see you figured it out. I just wrote a hash verification check when loading the common key, so in 1.3 you won't be left in the dark if the key is incorrect.

I prefer to stay on the legal side of things and not embed the common key. I know that there's been a few notable statements on the matter, saying that the key is legal to use, etc, but I'd rather not take that chance. Many sites still (attempt to) enforce the rule that the key may not be included with any download.

It is also a matter of flexibility. When the key is external to the program, you don't have to worry about future Nintendo changes. Obviously Nintendo's hopes of changing the wii common key are completely gone, but the DSi key is still up for grabs. If a new key was perhaps introduced in a new line of Wiis (ex: Korean wiis), then the user would be able to (most likely) place the new key in the key.bin file, and retain decryption functionality for that variant of console.
