    Nice simple concept.

    A few suggestions:

    Display the instructions before the game starts so the player doesn't die/almost die before understanding what to do.

    Add a score that constantly increases as you survive/fire at other ships (optimally with a stored highscore).

    Increase the speed of new space ships appearing over time so that it gets harder the longer you survive.

    Also, I added a screenshot to filetrip.

    As for the score and speed I hope to add them into the next version, this first version was more of a demo of what the game would be like and attract more people.

    I am thinking of changeing the text to sprites and setting the frame of the sprite to whatever the number is, but I have no spaceship sprites and can't be bothered to make any.

    I would personally suggest you don't change into sprites.

    The simple ASCII adds charm to the game.

    Ok.

    I had the idea to make this from a calculator so thats why at first I used text. But then I had that idea to make the graphics a little nicer.
