Convert to/from Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster saves from Android/PC version to Switch version.

I couldn't find a guide/tool for this, so I'm posting one.

The Android version encodes save files in Base64. From what I've seen, the PC version uses the same format, but I don't have that version, so *shrug*. The Switch does not, but the save format and IDs appear to be the same. The instructions are for Android, the Steam version will store its saves in a different folder.

I did this with FF II. I can't guarantee that it'll work for other games in the series. Everything appears correct, items, equipment, spells, status, etc, but I can't say for certain nothing is changed.

To access your save file from Android:
  1. Connect your phone to computer and enable file sharing.
  2. Navigate to SD Card/Android/data/com.square_enix.android_googleplay.FFPR*/files/Save
    • * is the game number as a number. FFI = 1, FFII = 2, FFIII = 3, ...
    • The "SD Card" folder might be named "Internal Storage" or something else, depending on your phone model.
    • My phone would not let me copy files from this location. I used this app to copy the folder to a location I could copy from. If your phone is rooted, you should be able to use any file app. (I'm not affiliated with this app).
  3. Copy the below list of files to a holding location on your computer.
    • 2E4HxIyL+Mvaahk1GRNNOgKrO4vDSSm72kHLbVt71hg=
    • 7nCxyzTwG31W3Zlg70mo751W8ETH1n+Km0dWOzRU84Y=

    • Rl18osV3e9kPX9SMWQj8mqShFpTUmu1lf6Mb=FVVfqk=
  4. DO NOT COPY THESE TWO FILES. The Switch version will fail to load if they're present. One is settings, the other is achievements.
    • V=SfwyU31ksiHpTxO7Rg2aBJrA18kSKvtF4jvDB4hRE=
    • VJPkB1UTDPC+6eDJIuvy8OtUSXOFoiYzRuhjms6tgcc=
  5. For each of the 5 files, decode them from Base64. I used https://www.base64decode.org/ (not affiliated).
  6. Zip the five files and restore the zip file with JKSV.
For converting from Switch to Android/PC, encode instead of decoding the files.

Hi, not sure if it's possible to answer but: after encoding the switch saves into pc, how to make them work? It's a bit confusing on how to change the files? I decode the .txt and then delete the .bin name so it doesn't have a name?

Edit: nope, that doesn't work.
