A MCU brick would happen only if you had downgraded a N3ds system to the 2.1.0 to do the a9lh install and put the console into sleep mode while on that low firmware
did not do that I got the brick from playing a game and rebooted from error message. I have a black screen with blue power light

Not an mcu brick. It's like nobody in this fucking community knows what an actual mcu brick is. There has been literally one confirmed case EVER, of an mcu brick, and that is Yellows8. N3DS sleep mode nand can be fixed. Check the actual ntrboot thread instead of spouting bullshit you know nothing about.

I have checked there, and time and time again it leads back to this. Ive head of shit like fryed capacitors and other things such as borked LED patterns. I`ve seen a ton in there of higher known people saying its not fixable as its more of a hardware issue than a borked nand

I used he r4 to install cfw on my 2ds it worked out fine. My new 3ds xl will not boot it still :(

Weird, cause when you said this on the NTRBOOT thread everyone called you out on your shit. AN MCU brick cannot even turn on the system in any sense. A 2.1 sleep mode brick is not that. You replied to a guy in the thread who was still able to boot it up.

something new is happning now it will come on with the sound and have the blue light and orange light but the screens will not come on.
if i put in my ntr card and then use the magnet and hold x start and select it power the light will come on the bottom screen with light up really fast this the hole system will turn off with out booting ntrboot.

If it powers on and then off while trying to use the X+START+SELECT combo then that means it did not find boot.firm on the memory card inside your n3DS. Check the microSD card inside your n3DS and make sure that you have a boot.firm file and that it's GodMode9, not Luma3DS.

To be on topic though, are you sure you have completely formatted both sd cards? Any left-overs may or might not cause this. Try starting with an absolute blank slate on both, and try to put what is needed on each card again.

also i do have the boot.firm on the sd card the one to boot ntrboot from the card right after you make it its the same one i used on the 2ds but a new card. as for godmode9 as a boot.firm i don't have it as the guide did not have me do that at all.

You're not supposed to be following the guide because the guide is for working consoles.

Here's the GodMode9 file: https://github.com/d0k3/GodMode9/releases/download/v1.3.1/GodMode9-20170808-155408.zip

Extract the ZIP, take GodMode9.firm, rename it to boot.firm and put it on the root of your n3DS microSD card. Then try to use NTRBootHax again. If it works you'll see GodMode9 load up and you can go from there.

That did not work the bottom screen flash's then the blue light comes on at the same time then it turns off. I found out if i hold just start on boot up with out anything in it it will do the same thing and it will also do the same thing with the select button as well.

Which R4 did you use ? If it doesn't work, try by putting the magnet closer to A and Y. Could also be a bad NTRBoot flash.

Okay so this is the r4ids.cn variant...

If it worked fine on your 2DS, it means you've injected NTRboot using this 2DS.
Might be a flashcard reading issue on your 3DS. Have you tried (idk why) booting NTRboot without the SDCard in your 3DS ?

I think GodMode9 will not work directly as an ntrboot payload because of a screen init thing (at least that's what I read). B9S has to be installed and GodMode9 booted as a Luma payload (holding Start on boot).

i do have am9 installed on this thing before everything happend if that helps.

It's not supposed to go on the flashcart, it's supposed to go on the internal microSD.

My bad. Have you got it on the internal SDcard so ?

According to 3ds.guide, you should have the standard b9s, the homebrew starter kit, Luma3DS, and SafeB9SInstaller on the internal SD
