there is no permanent even if you changed it in ntr.bin, you still need to push X+y 1 time

Nope, if you patch the global then it should work.

The check is made between the value stocked in the global and the value returned by the getKey function.

The initial value of the global is set to x + y (0xC00), just change it and you're done.
Actually you should be able to set any other combination too.

Did you load the version 3.3 ?

Also I'm not editing the function which change the hotckey, but directly the global.
Which mean that changing the hotkey with the menu will reset it.
You'll then need to reboot the cfw.

But I'm interested in which version you're editing and what's the address for you ?

Edit this code indeed change the values given by the setHotkey function, but as you said you still need to first go into the menu.

Changing both the global and the functions allows you to completely edit the hotkeys.
You can edit the string for the menu to perfect it too.

I think the ntr.bin before they implement the cheats menu, yes I don't like to use the cheats menu because of the few seconds graphic glitches when exit the menu

I think I am using 3.0 before he Added 'Game Plugin Config Menu' in 3.1

If the address is different for all ntr.bin versions
They could just search 000C0000 in hex editor and look for the 1st 32bits (address ends with 0,4,8, or C) result
