The Monster Hunter Gen plugin doesn't seem to work, after starting NTR and then starting the game, it just hangs on the Nintendo 3DS screen and loads forever.

it's a known problem, try use 3.3 or 3.4p2 ntr.bin
if those don't work there might be no hope

I'm likely using an older version of bootNTR, should uninstall the old app and delete the ntr.bin before installing the other one?

you only need to replace the ntr.bin, no need to touch bootntr

After trying with 3.4 the game crashes when trying to load a character.

I've placed the plugin in the folder.
Then I use the ntrswitcher and use 3.4.
The game actually boots this time but it crashes when trying to load the save.
Maybe I could try renaming one of the new files to ntr.bin and try with the old app?

it could be one of those games that doesn't like cheat plugins
if your are using the eur version , try grab the cheat plugin from speedfly.cn and see if it would load the save without crashing

That site is beyond my ability to navigate...or make sense of even with google translate.
I guess I'll wait for the time being...

I just noticed...all my other plugins are named cheat.plg, yet the Gen one is MH_Generation.plg and the one from that link is speedfly.plg.
Do I rename it back to cheat?

cool, then we could eliminate the part that ntr doesn't support this game
guess there is something wrong with the gateshark2ntr cheat.plg
hope they will be able to fix it

1- Press [Select] to shows up the menu
--> You can navigate in the menu with the DPAD Key UP and DOWN
--> Press A to activate / de-activate a cheat
--> Press B to exit the menu and return to the game
--> You can change the hotkey for showing up the menu by pressing [Start] in the menu
--> You can adjust the speed of the cheats execution by pressing [Select] in the menu

Badge arcade and miku still doesn't work

Badge arcade codes have to be updated every day/week that badges update, it's almost useless to make a cheat plugin for this, since it'd have to be updated so many times.
