Hacking NTR CFW 3.0!

After turning off (not hard reset) and on again, it seemed to work.

however i cant manage to get gba games working on GW emunand in NTR CFW. is even possible or i just cant have it?

Gateway patches break AGB/TWL mode. It's a known issue with gateway. Has nothing to do with NTR. You can instead use rxTools or ReiNand if you have n3DS as I believe those won't break AGB/TWL modes.

How do you format sysNAND without internet connection?

Edit: Crap! Now my console sees there is an update. What do I do now?
Will that go away after I format the sysNAND?

So now that we have all of this, can I ditch my Gateway? If I install ReiNand I can just boot into my 9.9 EmuNAND and play my games as CIAs and everything? Will I miss out on anything?

No need to Format Sysnand. You can get the update nag a way by getting into recovery Mode. There is a tutorial in the tutorial section. You can uninstall your update by pointing to nand again and being in uninstalling Mode in FBI. WARNING this is risky, tripple check if you Are uninstalling the right title. If you uninstall the wrong, you fucked up and get a brick.

I think I will just wipe the sysNAND and finish setting up rei. I already formatted emuNAND.
Only if I can get this to work without the system trying to force an update. Any ways around that?

A notification in the notifications thing that says there's an update is pretty much irrelevant to the update being downloaded, and even then the most it does when downloaded is prompt you once per day/startup that it's there.
It's never "forced" unless you break your system to the point that all you can access is the emergency update and have no backup.

Ok I think I got it figured out now. Thanks for the tips guys.

Spoofed the WiFi with my phone tether, then turned off the mobile data. That got me through and let if format the sysNAND.

Yes! ANNNDD There's also a CIA option which I'm using that allows for booting without CN. It's legit NTR btw.

Nonono sorry. You can boot NTR mode from a CIA file.

I heard it not working well with rxTools 2.6, you should upgrade to newest beta/alpha rxTools

Only NTR 1.0 plugins are incompatible, all others work fine on 3.0 (in my experience)
