ROM Hack NSP game still asking to download an update

I just want to install the base NSP for a game and not worry about the update. Is there a way possible that I can stop the nsp from asking for an update?

I even reset the required firmware version to 1.0 using nscb but that doesnt seem to affect the game still asking for an update.

Because it's not about FW update, it's about game update.
You can use devmenu, goldleaf 0.8 (if you have old FW) or wait for goldleaf 0.9

I use goldleaf .5. So goldleaf .8 is better?

Idk if 0.5 supports this, but 0.8 supports it for older than 10.0.0 FW (dunno if 9.x will work, but it should work for anything below)
