Looks like the internet channel on the wii shop has now been dumped.

Opera.Internet.Channel-WiiShop-PAL-Wii-WaLMaRT

Code:
NOTES:ÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂ
Like BLAZEs VC rls, only we think its better to tag the rls as WiiShop, since for example this rls is a App rather then a
Virtual Console game. All Files are uncrypted, u just have to wait for the WADtool. Unlike BLAZE we kept folder structure intact, cuz we simplyÂÂ
dont know how the packer handles the files.
Fuck p2p..ÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂ
Long live the skeen!ÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂÂ
Respect to BLAZE!ÂÂÂÂÂÂ

Shouts to: F00 (thnx for ur insight bro!)
Waninkoko (great nand dumper bro!)
All fine Wiibrewers!

Oh cool. A Friend of mine will be happy.

Still , this should better not spread around to much if we want to be using homebrew for long...

You can't even use them. Which is why in my opinion these release groups are the epitome of lameness

I have Opera Channel anyway
But this would be real nice if for some reason I need to format my wii and I lose the channel

So, they're not dumping the VC roms.. but the whole channel!

Interesting.. but shouldn't be hard for Nintendo to patch it

You CANNOT use them. Even if a packer is released, it won't be signed, just Trucha signed. Meaning that there's only one bug to fix urgently, which Nintendo are on top of already.

Arctic_Flame, you have no clue what you are talking about. You don't run this on a disk with Trucha Signer, you use the Twilight Hack. Also, WADs aren't something new to the Wii, so there are already WAD creators out there and I'm sure one will come for the Wii very soon.

Also, the point of scene releases like the first VC game dump aren't for people to play, it is to show what CAN be done. This release is just a bunch of idiots playing with a program they know nothing about and releasing something they know even less about with no thought about how these kinds of releases will effect Wii hacking as a whole.

actually underpressure, I think arctic is right, to an extent. I mean, whatever the outcome of this release, the reality is (at the moment) that it will have to be signed in some way to run on the Wii. So unless they've discovered a way to TRUELY sign the game as if you own it, it'd have to be signed with the already public common key, thus making it a trucha sign.

Of course, this is just based on what we know now, so he or anyone else could be wrong. We just have to wait and see.

Yeah, what's with the complaints? I don't care who dumps it or why they dumped it. The thing is, this release might be useful to someone, and it's nice to see that non-VC channels can be dumped. So what if a few things end up getting patched? Who knows what future exploits hold in the future?

You can just download it again, can't you?

It won't cost you anything.

Not if you format your Wii because it changes your system ID number. So you lose all your VC games, WiiWare games, and Internet Channel.

The more exploits the better. This release might be a reason to disable some of them...

No luck, channels are signed too and can be signed with Trucha Signer too (like the homebrew channel actually)

i think we should just release everything

i dont understand this need to hold back releasing these

just look at the PSP scene, things gets patched then they hack it again....just don't update your wii for now

I'm feeling uneasy about this - I really don't want Nintendo to release a Wii System Menu that utilizes IOS37. I believe Bushing's recent announcement, IOS37 was really a warning to Datel/pirates, and we've probably taken it too far with these releases. Next thing you'll know, Nintendo will push out Wii System Menu 3.3, using IOS37.

No. You install the WADs to the Wii as a channel, you don't directly run them with the Twilight Hack. Channels need to be signed (or Trucha signed) to run.
