I got my iPhone the other day and it's been working fine. I took it home and got it hacked, installed some programs and was enjoying it until this afternoon when suddenly I couldn't receive or make calls. After calling Verizon, it's likely because I never bothered installing iTunes or registering with Apple which makes no sense because they shouldn't have anything to do with making calls on the network.

Can I still register this thing now that it's been hacked? If I lose programs and have to reinstall them later or jailbreak a second time that's not a big deal.

Blargh, nevermind. I'm not sure if it ever had anything to do with registering or not.

After on with tech support, I managed to brick the phone while following his instructions on performing a system restore. I finally got it restored on my own and back up and running. I wish I knew what went wrong.
