Extrems, could you compile next versions of Not64 using this new libfat.a file in your libogc enviorement?
It enables UStealth in Wii U systems, a way to hide HDDs from Wii U OS, that way only vWii can read them.
It goes in libogc/lib

I think there's not makefile in the original sourse of Wii64... Couldn't compile by myself

Actually, holding down B during the Wii U boot up sequence is another way to circumvent the Wii U's format nag screen. Holding B as it starts up goes directly to vWii mode.

Anyone else actually tested the updated version?

I can happily verify that after testing 60+ N64 games, results in general are:
1) Noticable speedup (though still not perfect) in previously stuttering games (Beetle Adventure Racing, Roadsters, Aydin Chronicles, Perfect Dark, Banjo Tooie, Jet Foce Gemini, Rayman 2 PAL, etc)
2) Butter smooth in games like Super Mario 64, Starfox 64, Mario Kart, Diddy Kong (most of the time) etc.
3) Shadowman is freezing upon boot with this version, was working before. Will try to find a PAL version to test that as well
4) NAND memory expanding and partial MEM2 usage are much faster than previous versions that used NAND for virtual memory.
5) 007 TWINE works (if you have a save like me to skip mission 1) and it has sound. This must be due to a sound plugin being implemented into Not64 i guess. Nice job!

All in all, great update and thanks Extrems once again for coming through with an actual update for one of the best Wii emus (for me at least).

I have tested the Goldeneye 007 n64 rom and it runs perfectly on Not64, except for the pitch scaling in the audio. If the FPS drops down it affects the pitch of the audio. Weird, I solved this by turning off pitch scaling in the options.

But then something else happened, when I tried to save state the game it completed successfully but then when I tried to load that same save state it crashed the entire emulator!!! I had to hard shutdown the wii, This is very disappointing!:ohnoes: The game successfully loads the savestates on the newest version of wii64, saves and loads perfectly (but obviously it won't have the improved graphics). Does anyone know how to fix this issue or is this another major bug that needs to be fixed with a hotfix? To note it only seems to happen with the Goldeneye 007 rom since it saves and loads fine with the Super Mario 64 rom, I haven't tested any of my other roms yet. But very impressed none the less with the performance improvements. Good Job Extremes:lol: But PLEASE HELP!

There is a hot fix coming to fix the Wii version of the emulator, should be coming soon, I believe Extrems mentioned it the other day.

@anyone, has anyone tested Mystical Ninja 64?

oh, I thought that the hotfix was already out. Because I downloaded it again from the main forum and it fixed the wii from locking up when loading roms. Unless it's not finished and he just added part of the hotfix to fix the crashing. Because the timestamp of the download is 12/26/14 which was yesterday. But the one I had that would lock up had a time stamp of 12/24/14. ???

Right, and on the Wii, it's currently broken due to changes he made for the CPU, he said he was working on a quick fix, not sure when it'll be out though.

Oh ok, thanks! B-) Sorry for the confusion. I guess I will play on the newest wii64 version until the new Not64 fix is made.

wow, this update certainly came out of nowhere. keep up the good work Extrems! did you ever happen to figure out the DK64 camera bug? runs near perfect aside from that one little annoyance haha

specifically this issue:

i'm not a coder by any means but it seems like they've found a solution to it in mupen. i have no idea how easy it would be to tackle though.
I've also noticed at least in that game that down on the left analog stick maps to up on a CCPro

This happened to me in Majora's Mask. It runs at nearly full speed now:yaywii: I was able to load the save state after restarting the Wii, but I ended up with no audio after loading it. (This is the hotfix 12/26 version)

Guys, guys:

Savestates for GoldenEye & Perfect Dark are not working since a few revisions back, it is not a new issue. No biggie though just use in game saves for these games. Almost all else works perfectly for savestates, from big N64 games (32-48MB) like JFG, Ocarina, Majora, Quake II, Banjo Tooie, DK64, GoldenEye X (hack), Super Mario 74 (hack), Rayman 2 PAL, 007 TWINE, etc etc.

Secondly, best way to play Not64 is Audio: Speed:VI. If a previous savestate was made with Limit FPS Off and you now have Limit fps:VI or DL and you load the savestate, you'll have issues. Make sure to create and load savestates in the same settings.
This happened to me in Majora's Mask. It runs at nearly full speed now:yaywii: I was able to load the save state after restarting the Wii, but I ended up with no audio after loading it. (This is the hotfix 12/26 version)

You had other settings when creating that savestate and different ones when loading it (see above)

Wow NFL Blitz shows the players! almost playable now...! I tried it....and you start to run the plays, however as you move the background goes garbled..(the field goes garbled)... but its a huge improvement. Please keep working on this emulator!

So wait the issue with the Goldeneye 007 savestates was known for a while? Something must have gone wrong because save states work on the new versions of wii64. Is there no way to fix this? Because I am sure that I used the same audio settings while saving and loading. I have another question, does the goldeneye X hack have the missions from the original goldeneye 007 rom. Also does savestates work on the hack. If so I will just use Goldeneye X to play the game.

That is the exact version that I downloaded and I still have problems with saving on goldeneye 007. I guess this is the full hotfix for now. Maybe Extremes can figure out how to fix the save glitch later. In the mean time I might just play the Goldeneye X hack.:p1ng3:

Read this http://gbatemp.net/threads/not64-update.333569/page-22#post-5232391 He just explained why the save states don't work.

Oh ok, didn't see that. Well that's great! I will play the Goldeneye X hack instead. Thank you again Extremes for making this wonderful mod for wii64 emulator.

How well does that run with 3 and 4 players? I remember it chugged a bit but ran perfectly with 2 players

Dunno haven't tried with 4 players

Some more testing of Not64

1) Shadowman PAL also does not work unfortunately. Was working on previous version.
2) Freshly released Goldeneye X v5c i WORKS! (look for a prepatched rom in a ''zone of iso'')

3) GoldenEye hack "Classic Nintendo maps" WORKS
