Hacking Noob question

I have got SX OS and installed it and all. I have got an xci file and not sure where to put it to play games. Help pls.

at the root of microsd card
put them all there

By root you mean, without any folder just put them there right? (my sd card is empty)

When you click on the the SDCARDNAME and it opens thats where you put the file Otherwise called The Root Directory.

Yes, no folders or anything.

Awesome thanks a lot guys, one last question (I am only able to do this tomorrow which explains my question) after I put the game in SD card, I should put it back to the switch and then start sx and it will show as playable game or should I do something?

You should put the game in the cartridge slot on top of your Switch.
