Hi, I´m trying to use waninkoko savegame manager.

Hi, I am one of those unlucky souls that suffers from the reflex effect, and got this save which is called RJAP.ZIP.

I have figured out to download waninko savegame manager into the sd:\apps, but I have no idea where to put the RJAP folder? Or it contents.

Any1?

Dump your current save on your wii with that app
then replace that save with the new one

Thanks for your reply, but when I am trying to extract that game, it gives me error -1 ?

I tried extracting for another game and it worked like a charm, but not for waninko savegame manager.

Hello, I bought the New Super Mario Wii game, and tried to run it with wiigator, but It gives an error message.
My Wii is hacked, I done it with twilight hack, and it is at version 4.0u. What should I do now?
Should I try to use something diferent from wiigator, or should I do some update? If so, what update?

Well, SD:\wiisaves didn´t work, but then I saw a new folder called savegames and I put it in there. Popped up savegames manager 1.0 again and I saw the game, but it gives me the error -106.

it looks like:
sd:\savegames\rjap\1 (wich includes 5 files)
sd:\savegames\rjap\2 (wich includes 5 files)
sd:\savegames\rjap\3 (wich includes 5 files)
sd:\savegames\rjap\4 (wich includes 5 files)
sd:\savegames\rjap\ which includes banner.bin and codmw.dat

Try cIOS 249 r14 and cIOS 250 r14 and then Neogamma R8 Beta15.

Hi to all and happy holidays!

I am new to the Wii scene and would like to ask for some inputs. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I purchased a modded JAP Nintendo Wii few days ago. I can play all games included on the bundle... I have few questions though.

1. Stuck with JAP language. What's the best tool to use? (Anyregion changer and then change language settings from there?)
2. After reading several posts, I found out that my unit is semi bricked. Wii settings not accessible.
(Maybe I played a game... I clicked on something... It updated to wrong region... coz i remebered one time it restarted before being able to play the game)
2.1 Can i also use anyregion changer or better to use ISO discs to resolve my semi bricked wii?
2.2 How can i check my current firmware if I cannot access my Wii settings?
3. Is there a way to check what mod and how was it done on my Wii?
I assume it's a softmod but I don't want assumptions especially dealing with technical stuff.
Is there a way to check or confirm the kind of mod performed?

Thanks a lot and more power to GBAtemp for a great forum!

Regards,
Geckoquiver

Some updates...
I was able to install HBC thru Hackmii, Bootmii and anyregion changer...
I downloaded wii-system-menu-update-JAP-v288.rar, extracted the iso and used img burn...
Tried to boot but it did not work... could be an error in a JAP language... Please help me guys...

btw, i already backed up my nand and keys because it is suggested by posts I have read... I also installed bootmii as boot to so I can restore in the future.

I use GX but I always used the console drive or wbfs manager to put the games on the drive

if your using originals you have to rip to pc with a certain LG drive and you have to decrypt them aswell I think(or Use the console drive)

let's say you right, all this time i could have been looking in the wrong thing, it could have been WBFS Manager all along (although that still doesn't explain why it worked fine for about a month or so). I backed up two games using Wii Backup Manager from the originals (as a test), placed them on HD trough Configurable USB Loader, then pc through WiiBackupManager as ISOs, formated the HD (first in windows and then as wbfs), one of the games transfered back to the HD and is playing, other won't transfer back on HD, got them to load on HD finally but through WBFS Manager and not WiiBackupManager, so now i have 2 games that play in Configurable USB Loader (that i have originals for) and 40 on PC still don't.
don't feel like im getting any closer to the solution.

same s..t different day, none of the games strored on pc play, i can see them in NeoGamma or Configurable USB Loader or USB Loader GX but once i select the game it either freezes right of the back or freezes right after the warning screen. i followed Sticky: Modify any Wii 4.2 & below and using i have:
Install cIOS202[38+60]-v4.wad
Install cIOS222[38]-v4.wad
Install cIOS223[38+37]-v4.wad
Install cIOS249-v14.wad
Install cIOS250-v14.wad
Install IOS70-64-v6687[TB+ES_diV+NAND].wad

changing from WBFS Manager (all the games were backed up through it, worked for a month or so in the summer) to Wii Backup Manager hasn't help at all with already stored games on PC

I used to understand all those things about Wii, like 1 year ago.
Then i had to quit playing and now i realized i'm really outdated.

I guess my problem is basic, please someone help me.

I've got a Wii 3.3U modchipped, i just don't remember which chip, I guess its a d2c2pro or a wiikey, one of those.
I can run Mario Galaxy and Mario Kart ok (never got how to make smash brothers work).

Going to the point, i've just downloaded and burned an ISO of Call of Duty Modern Warfare Reflex (NTSC, like my console), and when I try to choose the game, it requests me to update my Wii.
Which alternative should I follow?

1) Update the Wii via the game?
2) Update it through the Wii Menu?

Does anyone knows which version comes with teh COD:MW? Is it the 4.2? Is it any lower?
I heard its still has some big problems, but i couldn't find anything related to Hard Mod, just to soft mod.

note: i have HBC working and a few wads, not much. I don't care if i lose them, as long as i get the Modern Warfare and other modern games to work.

Thank you all VERY much in advance!
Merry Christmas!

anyone?

I fixed my loaders by installing to ios250 instead of 249 BUT now my screen isn't widesceen anymore and I can't seem to get it back to wide.
I have a tv that auto reads the input and adjusts. My wii is set to wide but since updating and getting neogamma and such installed, it is wide.
Any ideas?

I can't get any of the Bit Trip series to work on my 4.2 PAL Wii modded with zero's guide. Every time I boot it I get kicked back to the Home screen. Anyone got any ideas?

can someone explain this part from the guide more specificly in what were suppose to see and what were were suppose to select
QUOTE said:
It will ask to patch IOS36. Again, press A and choose "Download IOS from NUS".
One last time, it will ask to restore IOS15. You know what to do now
wink.gif

Installing the IOS required for your System menu. If you patch it, you can play wad files (Channels) from the SD card menu (4.0 and up)
3. You will go to the main menu again. Change the IOS to IOS36 this time. and press A (while the cursor is on the first option). It will say it successfully loaded the IOS, so press A to continue.
It will ask you if it needs to check for Stub IOS. Press B to deny it.

In the new menu, choose IOSs. You will get the classic Dop-IOS menu. Go right till you see IOS60. Now press - (minus) to install the old v6174 of this IOS.
Press A to continue. Say yes to sign Hash check (press A). After its done, press A to return to the IOS screen. Then press B to go back to the menu.

Now for the System Menu itself...
4. If you aren't on system menu 4.1 yet, choose System Menu. Change the version to "System Menu 4.1" and change the region to the region of your Wii. Then press A to continue.
Let the app finish and return to the menu.
i already tried doing this 3 times and i keep getting an error similar to this one:http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=199005&st=0&#entry2487617
Ps my wii came out with version 4.0u out the box if thats any help and is this part of the guide really required?

I am a total NOOB, and not afraid to admit it! Here's my situation:

Just got a Wii, and successfully installed HBC and DVDx on system 3.2 (yay me).

I also got Super Mario Bros and of course, it wants 4.2. So I went through the tutorial(?) using DOP-ISO to upgrade to 4.2U. But DOP-ISO failed on install, and I think I'm about 1 step away from bricking this thing completely. Unfortunately enough, because of my Wii, I had to install bootmii as an ISO, not as Boot-2, and although I did do a backup of the NAND, I'm very worried that this is going to end up badly.

I think the DOP-ISO failed when I accidentally told it to NOT delete the stub ISOs, and now it won't do a thing.

But either way, now when I reboot the Wii, and try using a game that was working fine on the unit previously, it tells me I must update the firmware. I can still get to HBC and bootmii, but if I mess this up, since bootmii isn't in boot-2, I know that I'm screwed.

So, I guess I have 2 choices:

1) re-install the NAND and then try again. I'm nervous about this because I know that if it messes up somehow, I'll loose everything...
2) Try re-installing updates with DOP-ISO. But if this fails again, I do not want to again end up with a brick because I can't get to HBC!

Or, I guess I have a 3rd - re-virginize my Wii, but as I understand it, that's not a good idea...

Oh, and I did not install Preloader, as an FYI. Why not, you ask? Because I'm, a NOOB, and just learned about it AFTER the fact.
frown.gif

All in all, tonight has sucked, and now I gotta face the kids in the morning and tell them that they can't play ANYTHING on the Wii until I figure this out.

I'm starting to think I should never had decided to hack this thing, dammit...

Thanks for your help!

Holy crap! I figured it out. Man, I REALLY need to read the guides better. Ended up that I forgot to delete the bannerbomb "atkn" folder off of the SD card. Holy crap, I think I came close to screwing that up royally. I guess it turns out that bannerbomb will cause DOP-IOS to fail in it's install of the 4.2 cIOS.

Wow. It looks all okay, except for the fact that Homebrew is now upside down. But I think the Wii will work. Whew!

All because of one folder. Well, gotta know what you're doing, unlike me...

Ok, third post. I guess it didn't work: Everything looks like it's 4.2U - it even says it over the Wii options menu, but every time I put a game disc in the drive, it says I need to update the firmware. What the HELL?! I'm getting really upset now...

Anyone please help me out here? Any guesses?

Thank you...

If you look back a page or three, I was having the same problem, you juyst need to install a hack to not look for updates on disks. You'll have to manually update things, but since you'll never want to install updates from disc on a hacked wii anyway, it's not an issue. Look for StartPatch. Just do the one to ignore updates.
