I searched the List of Wii Apps on this site but couldnt find anything.

Sure, plenty. Maybe it's a bad WAD but I find that unlikely since I've never done this before so it's probably just me.

I'm using cIOS Rev13 and I want to upgrade to Rev14. Do I simply install Rev14 or do I need to downgrade then upgrade or do something like that?

I am currently on 3.2 or 3.4 or something. Do I need to upgrade to 4.1? I've got a D2Pro but I don't know if that matters.

Homebrew channel question, i just went to 4.1 using the awesome simple guide. Everything work good except i move all my sd file to a 16gb sdhc card and my apps do not show up in homebrew channel. why ? is the homebrew channel not compatible with sdhc ? if so whats the best work around.

Hi, I'm trying to install a certain wiiware with wad manager but i always receive a 2011 error.
So I've tried this guide, I also installed cIOS36_rev9 but nothing works, when I try to install it I still get a 2011 error.
What can I do to fix it?

i succesfuy installed the homebrew channel following the guide but im having trouble installing anythig else. i can see the stuff going into the homebrew channel and runnning the stuff from the sd card but isnt there a way to put the likes of neogamma and emulators onto the front page beside the homebrew channel?

Hello, I had my Wii for over 2 years (I think), and just started with the Wii hacking. Right now, I have 4.1U, which from what I have read, is hackable with the Bannerbomb. All I want to do is to play my back up games, I lend my games to my friends quite a lot, and some of them return them scratched (friends I don't lent to now). So now, I have a couple of questions.

I want to know what are the possibilities of bricking my system, and how it would brick with what I just plan to do. (Semi and Full bricks)
Will I still be able to connect my legit DS games with the back up Wii game?
Also, what is the best homebrew to run my back-up games on?

#Muramasa ---> Sound lags.
#Red Steel ---> Slows down in some areas (one so far).
#Trauma Center ---> Intro video is slooooow.

What is like "THE BEST MEDIA EVER" for burning backups? I'am using Verbatim-r, and Verbatim-r-printable/imprimable (the latter are like $1 each) @4x. I don't mind if they are expensive I just need the closest thing to an original disc.

Also, which is smoother launching backups from USB or DISC?

Okay, here's my setup:

- Wii 1st generation
- Wiikey clone 1st generation, not to be updated with firmware
- Wii firmware 4.1, updated via Waninkoko's updater
- cIOS38 rev 14 installed
- CIOS60 installed
- Bootmii installed
- Neogamma r7 on homebrew
- Backups burned on Verbatim DVD-R @4x

Situation:
- (Trucha-signed) Backups from old firmware (pre 4.0) games work fine on *disc channel*, if Generic Wii Patcher 001 and 002 patch is applied
- (Trucha-signed) Backups from old firmware (pre 4.0) games work fine on *Neogamma disc loader*, if Generic Wii Patcher 001 and 002 patch is applied
- New games like Wii Sports Resort (firmware 4.1) does not work in disc channel, 001 error comes up
- New games like Wii Sports Resort (firmware 4.1) does not work in Neogamma, 001 error comes up

(the error I get reads: "Error #001, Unauthorized device has been detected.")

I have tried several ISOs, but all Wii Sports Resort ISOs seem to lack the byte string pattern that signify the 001 & 002 errors, and thus cannot be patched by Generic Wii Patcher 1.2.

Is there anything I can do about this 001 error? (Since I can't update modchip firmware, nor I patch it with Generic Wii Patcher). Does Wii Sports Resort use a different byte string pattern?

I have searched the forums here, and google, but the majority of questions deal with softmods or newer gen hardmods, and I can't find much info related to first gen (possibly crappy) hardmods.

in my opinion, most blank dvds will work just fine. i have tried about a dozen different brands and only like 1 wasnt working. which as dynex.

I'm trying to run the FFCC Life of a King wad to run, but whenever I try to run the channel, the Wii just resets. Google tells me the most common cause of this problem is improper region, but my WAD's region matches my Wii (NTSC) and even freethewads didnt help. Any suggestions?
