Use NUS on your computer to download ios53 ios55 pack as a wad and use wad manager
I already have that done.I thought I needed 'Hermes' Ios222/223' in order to run Guitar hero 5.Its just I dont have wifi
You can use NusFoldersRenamer.exe to make a single folder with the ios's in there relevent folders you put that folder on the root of your SD card if you havent downloaded ios 38,37 or 60 through nus then you should before running NusFoldersRenamer.exe
You dont need a gamecube controller to be able to make a nand backup in Bootmii you just use the power button and reset buttons on your wiiTea7 said:I hope this is the right place for this type of noob question. I have a 3.4E system that I want to get to play backups. I have been doing tons of reading in hopes of modding it correctly. So, far I have HBC and browser up and running. I can only install Bootmii as IOS but because I don't have a gc controller, I will have to pass making a nand backup (i have read that the model number I have, doesn't respond to the buttons on the console; LEFxxxxx). Now, since I am a noob and will probably make errors, and can't make a backup of nand, I want to make the smallest amount of footprints possible. So, I am reading and re-reading tons (possibly too much). From what I've gathered, I should Trucha bug my system (IOS 36,etc), install cIOS 38r14, and install Neogamma. My question is that since my HBC is installed on IOS 36 and I attempt to use the Trucha bug, won't that cause problems? I have read that quite possibly it will cause HBC to be upside down and the fix for that would be to reinstall with a newer version. But I already have the newer version. At this point, what would be the best step to take that would be the simplest and do the least amount of changes to the system (oh to have Bootmii as Boot2!)? Should I uninstall HBC and reinstall an earlier version before I proceed with the rest?![]()
Thank you for any help that I can get.

I've got a 3.4U version Wii that has been softmodded and have the Homebrew Channel, WAD Manager 1.3 and GUI-FX to play backups on an external USB Hard drive (I think I also have BootMii installed, but I don't remember exactly). The games I have installed work fine, but would like to know what I need to update to get newer games (ie NSMB) working.
Thanks!
re-run hackmii installer. why not configure your bootmii.ini if you don't want to see the bootmii menu or just safe keep the bootmii folder to your pc.JJBro1 said:how do i uninstall bootmii as an ios? I'm tired of having to go over and press the reset button.

I have used nand backups a few times with bootmii 1 was a banner brick the other 2 was just restoring mii wii back to 3.2 it like any nand restore is dangerous because of chance of power failure half or part the way throughTea7 said:Thanks Cobleman for your quick response. Even if I could use Bootmii as IOS and could use the buttons, isn't it pretty useless? I've read that you shouldn't use it to restore your nand anyway. But that aside, any ideas as where to proceed from here? Sorry if I am asking goofy questions, but I want to take all possible precautions and tread lightly. Thanks so much.

no for the first question just put it straight on your USB/discSOS-Rens said:I'm downloading a game and in the discripton of the download site it says that
the game is WIIScrubbed. Do I have to unscrub it before I burn the game to a disc ??
or if I want to put it on my USB.
the game is 3.82 GB
Another question: Is it possible to Trim an wii ISO ??
~SOS~
the answer to your question is in this thread: http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=189802dsliteboy said:Sorry this seems to be the correct thread for this
I have a hard-modded wii for my son, am am not keen to mess with softmod/homebrew channel etc.
Given the new protection is known for NSMB, is it now possible to "modify" the iso burn it to a disk so that the wiikey (and only wiikey) can play it ? Will it ever be possible?
thanks in advance?
