I'm sure I'm not the only one, but the first thing I did after installing a game from PSN was back it up with qcma. So I could always reinstall my legit games whether Sony wanted me to or not.
(Even Microsoft never invalidated people's paid content on their device, the de-activated console by sony specifically with the intent of invalidating paid content was a new low blow for the gaming industry............all they had to do was ban the console, or, update the firmware on the games manually, all of what they did was not only unnecessary, but, since the ps4 is has a few more years in it, loyal customers are just taking the punch in poor taste.............as for me..............sony also claimed someone got into my account so they deactivated my ps4 at the same time my ps vita was deactivated and I lost all content, mind you, I've performed no modifications to the ps4 whatsoever, after the third phone call, I took a hammer and smashed the ps4 it has been resting in the trash for a just under a month now)
(the last time I connected to psn, was to get my paid for content so I could back it up on an official vita, but since my other console was violated by sony and deactivated, the paid content is worthless, on the multiple devices, the terms of service allows, up to three or so devices)
(remind me to throw away all my old disk backups of content, I completely forgot about that) (remember in the early 1990s when pee wee herman exposed himself in public, many people flooded the streets and garbage bins with his movies, and the networks banned his filmography for quite a few years afterwards) (w@r)
(lost a few hundred dollars but big deal, I reclaimed less than 120$ by selling what I could, that included a few vita games I have backups for..............everyone else not willing to terminate their partnership with sony, I'm sure, they are turning more so to the piracy market for a solution to the violation of the terms of service agreement against their devices, and the really non-standard behavior from sony, not just this, but a number of other small things amounts to plain and simple abusive practices) (this time, I forgave sony for not matching the hardware the xbox one offered in media playback, next time if I'm even remotely interested, they will have to do equal and better to earn my attention)
