The only question i have with this is if dlcs will be working too ? Since we can update the game trough the live area the only missing part would be the dlcs :)

I have edited the OP and asked one of the mods to change the thread title and i put the old post in a spoiler tag? what other recommendations do you have? I will gladly do what i can:)
Just coming to this thread now for the first time, it is still confusing even after you've edited the OP. Yes, the OP mentions NoNpDRM, but then the comments straight after speculate about N64 and PS2 emulators, which made me go "wah? Can't they read?" until I worked out what had gone on. I agree with @dimmidice that it would be better for the announcement thread to have been separate from the pre-announcement speculation.

Just to be clear i don't blame the OP for this. It's just how it's usually done on this site. But it really is hella confusing.

Right, i have tried to improve the OP a bit more. I put the Spoiler that contains the Original post at the top. So that people read that first and then afterwards they can read the announcement information. That in turn should help clear up the mis-understandings.

if confusion still persists then the best case scenario would be to ensure that a release thread is made whenever the tool is released.

great now gotta wait for its release and for them dumpers to dump working Atelier games, i believe all of the atelier games on the vita had alot of issues.
i did read here someone mentinioning this is not a dumper but i also read that the games with hiccups can now be dumped and working like as if they were totally official?

so with this tool i guess we can hope that all the games from 3.60 and below will be working 100% and with 0 hiccups/save issues or crashes.
if is will be like that, then this tool is a pretty big thing.

Apparently, we are getting ROMs, too. There are already two available on that iso site and the release of tools by motoharu (https://github.com/motoharu-gosuto/psvgamesd) is supposedly impending. I wonder if external (x2vita) storage would be supported when mounting games motoharu’s way.

That section wasn't there last night. Thanks for the heads up.

It doesn't support external storage -at the moment-. Maybe by the time it's released it will :)

u can't currently. my advice is to sell the vita memory card once u have everything setup with sd2vita. then, backup the micro sd to your computer. buy a bigger card if necessary. you'll save money in the long run, and u won't have to look at one of those overpriced cards again. :P

for DLC,it should dumped again,,,somehow.

Now that you mention it, the early whitelist hacks had to be reinstalled after a game was updated. I don't think it effected the DLC. By the time I got into 3.55 hack firmware, that issue was already resolved. I guess we won't know until the time of the release, btw:

1. Redump Game? to patch for license file, for external update via web, and external dumped dlc (hard to imagine anyone with 3.60 firmware loaded with official games and DLC) (like everyone else, I own a few physical games, purchased some dlc, but don't use psn anymore out of choice)
2. All DLC is bumped for all games?

(taihen/taihenkak, I didn't even know about this until recently as of a few days ago, anyone ever heard of this? Maybe we can choose which method a game will use at launch from another application, like the way mai dump has some boot options) (so happy about about mlthaku replacing the manual install of the sd2vita plugin, I'm somewhat willing to complete reformat everything and loose the last few days worth of fiddling around, installing stuff, which is about 1/3 as fun as actually playing anything at all on the console itself LMAO)

it's different now,the DLC was dumped by mai was decrypted, however the new method will make the game looks like normal backup.
