Homebrew no$gba DSi NAND question

I'm using dsiguide.me to downgrade from v1.4.5-U
I'm at Section lll - Step 90

My question is: It says to make sure the NAND works PERFECTLY. Does that mean it should be able to launch apps? Because whenever I launch Flipnote Studio it gives the Nintendo error message, but system settings works fine. Pictochat launches but nothing comes up. Is this normal or did I mess up AGAIN?

EDIT: This is wonky, now Flipnote Studio launches after a no$gba relaunch?

That emulator isn’t very polished. The sound is buggy and not all apps will load. As long as your nand boots and you can scroll in the home menu, you should be fine.
