Homebrew NO$GBA - Chrono Trigger (J) help

okay for some reason the ROM doesnt work anymore ? i dont know why, i have a vague memory of it working when the rom first came out.
but now when i try to load the rom, it says ''initializing save file, please do not turn off the power''

i thought it would be because of the piracy thing ? but i tried all the codes i could find for it, and it still says the same. any ideas?

If you don't have no$gba 2.6a, you'll need to manually specify the save type in the settings and then reset the game.
