Your missing the point, people buy the game for PC to play it competitively. No dedicated servers means no competitive following. It really was a bitch move, especially since PC gamers made CoD what it is today.

Yeah but guess what? Because of the 60$ price tag and basically a game that's not even worth playing online on the PC now, people will just pirate it to play the Single Player

Probably yes. But it will never be so easy, fun and common then on CoD 4.
