I'm surprised software like this hasn't gotten out from Nintendo yet. You would've thought at least one employee would have that bright idea lol. Or maybe Nintendo are just amazing at keeping things under wraps.

Everything is counted, everything is checked. You don't seriously think Nintendo will let someone wander out of the office with a disk in their pocket? And if you get caught, it's your ass.. and your wallet, for that matter.

QUOTEHonestly, it amazes me that their emulators don't work BETTER. Unless they are specifically trying to bottleneck the N64 emulator, it seems that ROM injection tests have shown that their emulation efforts are quite poor.

wrong. each game has the emulator tailored specifically to it to ensure that the game it is meant for works flawless. injecting was never intended, it's in fact merely good luck that some games happen to work on the emulator meant for a different game.
even today PC emulators that attempt to emulate ALL n64 games have serious issues, cause making one game work can easily break five others.

Well most emulators can be coded when it detects specific game ID's to emulate things specifically for that game, and then the general emulation is for new/homebrew games.

Because its not possible? Also the emulators were written specifically for the system, so it depends on the hardware and software/OS of that system. Even if you could rip it, its useless any wheres else.
The Wii hardware supports all and any opcodes in GC binaries so it could probably run without to much trouble. However converting it to a wad/elf probably isn't that easy.
