no , nintendont does not run any gc homebrew, nintendont works by patching sdk functions and patterns which games use, homebrew has no set rules for patterns so nintendont cant patch them therefore no homebrew runs at all

nope nintendont doesnt run any gc homebrew, due to how nintendont works.

also every gc homebrew has a wii version so why would you use the inferior gc version over the wii version? i have no idea.
Well, what I know is that Nintendont list sd media launcher .iso and launchs it just fine:

I don't know if from there you can use gecko like you said, because i don't have one. Was a shot in the dark.

What I know: You can use gamecube homebrew in the wii, but in other ways like dios mios, and neogamma (if compatible wii disc drive)

yeah you can becuase those are using mios which is basically native gamecube code, nintendont doesnt not run on mios, it runs in wii mode and does alot of patching to turn gc code into wii code, so finding patterns and sdk functions which homebrew doesnt follow at all.

Besides the point

Even With a GameCube Controller or a Wiimote as Player 1

There's no way to get back even to the Loader, When I hit Power on the Wii, It just turns it off

At least when I'm in a Game, I want a way to get back to the Loader Screen

The Gamecube controller has a button combo that is supposed to take you back to the Home Brew channel or to the loader when using certain loaders.

I'm trying to make some GCT. files for Sonic Mega Collection (J)

I downloaded the Gecko Cheat Code Manager

Gecko Cheat.png

I guess I didn't explain muich

The GCT file I made is in the Games Folder

I saved it as Sonic Mega Collection (J)

Like this

Sonic Mega Collection (J) .gcm
Sonic Mega Collection (J) .gct

But the Codes didn't work, even I turned on cheat

afaik the gct file needs to be called the gameid and not some random text like GAFE.gct or something

Hello, I wanted to ask if this is the end of this Nintendont project? the latest release is v6.498 and from that release until today you can't see anything newer anywhere !! Are forum users aware of the new version of Nintendont or will there be etc ...?

probably will be the end, there isnt much to do the games do work, and the main developer(fix94) disapeared years ago so there isnt anyone with much knowledge to work on this to add any further enhancements.

Ok, I understand and thank you for the information, the fact the program works very well

Probably already asked, but does someone know if it support Zip files?

Like, instead of having folders with "Name of game" -> game.iso
Being: Zip file with Name of Game -> game.iso

I installed Nintendont as a forwarder with wup installer to use the wiiu gamepad, however when I run it from the wiiu menu it only detects games installed on the SD card as it cannot read the usb stick, but if I run it from vwii it works fine but now I can’t use the gamepad, what am I doing wrong?

Also I would like to know where can I find forwarders for Wii emulators such as Genesis and GBA to run from the wiiu menu and use the gamepad, I already have retroarch but I prefer the simpler Wii emulators, thanks.

that is how it works, when using wiivc inject(wiiu gamepad acess) all acess to fat32 usb is cutted from nintendont due to how nintendo coded the injects, they use the usb code to read usb formated to wiiu mode or wiiu nand so you cant acess fat32 usb, you can only use usb on wiivc inject if you install a single game inject and the game stays on wiiu nand or wiiu formated hdd.

while using vwii directly there is no usb code hijack so you can use fat32 usb there.

That makes sense, thanks.
