i dont see a reset button only a hole in the case, maybe its a fake one.

if you open it up you will know for sure. seeing the board and the battery inside.
When I push on it there is indeed a button in there and for reference when using HID to VPAD it has vibration so I know the vibration is working. Would it be possible if you have a "controller" folder to upload it so I can try it?

like i said i dont use a controller ini or any controller folder, some controllers are hadrcoded into nintendont itself and dont need a controller.ini to work, just delete the controller folder and any controller ini and let nintendont take over it without using any files that affect conbtrollers.

Tried that and it still works but no rumble sadly. I got the latest version from here https://github.com/FIX94/Nintendont is this the version you are talking about and I am using this https://gbatemp.net/threads/release-wiivc-injector-script-gc-wii-homebrew-support.483577/ to inject my games.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

the only way i see it is to install a nintendont channel one that loads only nintendont and games from sd card instead of autoboot that way you cant start it and then change settings and start a random game from sd card to save those settings(you need to start a game to save settings changed) then exit and go to your autoboot game, nintendont the way its codded cant return to nintendont menu once games are started.

GREAT idea! Thanks man.

yeah 491 is the latest but im guessing your controller code rumble is diferent from the one that is coded like i said my controller reference is diferent and rumble works on mine, it makes no diference on how you inject, the rumble is the same codding since forever, so unless you find someone who knows how to code the rumble of that diferent model ps3 dualshock you wont get any all i know is dualshock CECHZC2E works with rumble on nintendont, so im guessing that is the one that was codded in.

2nd ps3 controller not vibrating either. Both controllers say VID: 054C PID: 0268 in HIDtest.

Hello,

I'm using Nintendont for years with no issues, works nice with every games, but one. Prince of Persia Sands of Time has vertical lines in the games and it seems pretty ugly. It does not happens with other games like Mario Sunshine or Mario Kart. Any tips how to prevent this? Using wiiu.

you have forced widescreen and forced progressive which might make it look worse than it did, also you got video set to none which you can try setting auto or a forced mode, just experiment around.

Without widescreen is a little bit better but still has vertical lines and no pretty as the other games. Vídeo setting changes nothing. But thanks for answer.

some games werent very preeety gc ports, but on small crts you couldnt notice this things, maybe try a videomode with deflicker on maybe that helps?

Could this ever be ported to the Switch in the future?
no never lol, nintendont is not an emulator, it just redirect gc calls into the wii/wiiu cpu that are the exact same architeture and uses the same gpu, the switch doesnt have neither the cpu or gpu to redirect calls, it would need an emulator.

Am I correct in understanding that on vWii it is not possible to dump an original GC game disc to ISO? I ask because every time I put my original GC disc in, it tries to read it but then ejects after about 10 seconds.

Unrelated question: for some reason on vWii, Homebrew Launcher and any apps launched from it are displaying in horizontally squished pillar box 4:3 - any idea why that is? I seem to recall the very first launch of Homebrew Launcher wasn't like this. Is there a config file somewhere I can edit to tell Homebrew Launcher to display everything in 16:9?

The original Wii had special Guides that allowed it to accept the mini DVD discs. The Wii U likely doesn't have this.

Interesting. In that case am I correct to conclude that there is no actual legal way to play GameCube games on Wii U unless you own an original Wii to dump your discs?

Wii's are dirt cheap these days and super easy to hack. Just make sure to get one that has the GameCube ports. All you need to dump disc is CleanRip: http://wiibrew.org/wiki/CleanRip

There are certain LG computer DVD drives that can be used with Rawdump or FriiDump for Windows. This method is EXTREMELY slow. It will take hours to dump one disc.
