@pedro702 Does nintendont use libogc instead of libwupc for connecting to pro controllers?
Is it really impossible to add 3rd party controllers if devolution managed to do it?

Anything is possible with enough work. Are you going to contribute the PR that adds the support?

Devolution managed to do modem emulation, too, but that doesn't mean Nintendont will magically get it.

Hello! I'm trying to play super mario sunshine with my hori battle pad u (wii classic controller). However, whenever I do the button combination to do half pressed L and R buttons, it doesn't seem to work, mario stands in place and squirts. Does it have to do with the hori battle pad or am I doing something wrong? I am aware that the hori battle pad seems to switch the placement of the L and R buttons and ZL and ZR buttons. Does that have anything to do with it?
if hori pad says its a classic controller then the half presses wont work, becuase classic controllers(official ones) have analog triggers therefore they dont need half press method, only wiiupro, classic controller pro and wiiu gamepad have half presses, im guessing hori reports its controller as a normal classic controller.

@FIX94 Is it possible in the future to add support for GCI Folder so that the saves are stored in .gci format instead .raw format? Dolphin has that feature, and it can help save some space.

Probably not. The GCI folder feature requires Dolphin to build a memory card filesystem in memory, so the .raw file is virtual, instead of physical. I doubt the Wii has enough memory floating around to make that virtualisation possible.

I just found this on Github. I wonder why this hasn't been touched since 2016. That would have been a cool feature.

Open source projects are limited by who wants to work on them and the things those people want to work on. Users' priorities don't often line up with those of developers. :P

Does wii u pro controllers work?
Yeah boi, but going through vWii mode you still have to use a Wiimote / Classic Controller to get into the app, and going through the Forwarder method requires the use of the Gamepad in lieu of the Wiimote, meaning you can't simply turn on the Wii U without the tablet or Wiimote and just use a Wii U Pro Controller.

I thought with the forwarder I could finally throw out the old Wiimote I kept around solely for activating Nintendont, but now I'm ever paranoid my Gamepad will die. I will never be free of the Nintendildo.

if you want to use wiiu gamepad you dont need wiimote at all, make an inject of wii vc on wiiu mode launch it and choose only use the gamepad and it will start without a wiimote.

hey guys! i have a question

on the nintendon't Compatibility List

there are some footnotes, but nowhere on this page is an explanation about the footnotes :(

so what does the 1 or 2 next to "yes" on same games mean? :)
1 means native widescreen support without having to force, 2 means native 480p without having to force.
The footnotes seem to have been accidentally broken by this edit: http://wiki.gbatemp.net/wiki/Nintendont_Compatibility_List?oldid=54497

And were later removed entirely at some point.
They should probably be added back.

Here's something interesting to point out about Wii VC on Wii U.. It supports Wi-fi, but not USB-LAN. Now I have a question about injected Nintendont. Did any of the networking code get replaced or not? It'd be neat to use this for some games that do support online play. Thank you for your time.

nintendont does not have bba support so no, no online.
