I can try another but I doubt its the card its brand new. Also GC injects are the only thing not working, loading Nintendont manually works fine.

do you have mcemu turned on? are your save files good on the sd card? i mean right size?
becuase if the game only boots once its probably crating a bad mc which breaks the game.

Sometimes its wont even boot first time when I have completely removed then replaced Nintendont and redone the inject. Also the games works every time and run and save fine if I load into Nintendont and open the game from in there.

games are all on sd card or you have them installed on usb or nand?

The injects I install to USB but I did try Nand to rule USB out as the cause and the same thing happens. For Nintendont without an inject the games are on SD
the only thing i can think off is nintendont is having a hard time acessing your sd card, if you have other cards even smaller or something try them.

I'll give it a try but I dont think the card is the issue. Ran directly from the Vwii it works fine either through a forwarder or the homebrew channel. On the Wii U menu I also have hbl2hbc forwarder set up up to launch Nintendont instead and that also works fine every time. I did try removing that in case it was interfering but it didn't help.

Edit: Tried it on two other SD cards. A 4GB and a 32GB. Same results. So I don't think it's the SD card.

tbh i have no idea what is the issue then, works fine for everyone else.

there is this post of several people that had this issue and solved, if you read it all you will see everyone had a diferent issue and woraround to solve this problem.

https://github.com/FIX94/Nintendont/issues/487#issuecomment-337285005

maybe you can find your solution there.

your not using rednand are you btw?

I've given up on GC injects for now, for whatever reason my Wii U doesn't seem to get on with them and I've already wasted enough time on it tbh. I'll just load into Nintendont and open the game from there. I do kind of wish I could use the gamepad, however I am using a wavebird instead, which is hardly a bad option.

I do have another question however. Is there a button combo to exit the game and go back to the Nintendont menu that works on Wii U. I googled and seen some mentioned but they are Wii only. I found one that exits out too the main Wii menu, but that means using a Wiimote to get back into Nintendont.

not even on wii there is no way to return to nintendont menu, its hard to explain but you jsut cant you cant exit to homebrew channel at best.

also i heard if you install fix94 modded homebrew channel on vwii and then use a inject of said homebrew channel you get a hbc wich has gamepad support and can start nintendont from there.

Thats fair enough, not like its difficult to grab a wiimote. Most of time I dont want to play a different GC game right away anyway.

I did read something about that modded homebrew channel letting you use the pad too, unfortunately I have no idea where to start in actually doing that.

first you need to install on vwii fix94 homebrew channel wich you can find on fi94 github the reest i dont know exactly since i never did the rest :P

I may look into it some time in the future but for now I'm just going to settle for using the wavebird and playing on the TV. I've spent the last 2 days trying to get GC injects working and its all starting to get annoying more than fun now.

altough it takes time if you boot nintendont from vwii and exit and go back to wiiu mode and launch any inject it will always work since its a problem initiating the sd card or something which some people fail if initiated from wiiu mode nintendont.

I am using a Wii Classic Controller Pro, and I want the L and R buttons to act like a partial press on those, and ZL and ZR to be a full press. Can anyone help?

Z button has been mapped to Minus as well, however you cannot flip the button mapping due to this change.
The face buttons have been switched though, A in Wii U -> X in GC, B -> A, Y -> B and X-> Y to make it more akking to the GC layout.
