any one know how to get the gamecube games to run at 16:9? i selected no when running the script the "do you want to force 4:3" question but it still displays at 4:3

Hi, I've been injecting RE4 Wii Edition with different control configurations and can't seem to get it working with the gamepad. Always shows message about connecting a nunchuk. Anyone can help me?

you know this thread is for gamecube titles right? anyways, thats a early wii game and the wii vc cant handle proper emulation for that, so you have to pre-patch the game main.dol with my special patcher before converting it.

I'm sorry for even asking. You might've seen my previous question. Please do not kill me. I know you do a LOT for the community, but I have to ask for a friend (I swear!): Do you have any plans to support GCN games that require a GBA? (Four Swords MP, Crystal Chronicles MP, etc). Maybe using the GamePad as the GBA? Again, sorry for asking :P

I'm so sorry for misplacing my question and thank you for your answer. What tool can I use to unpack and repack the wii iso?
 
Hello ! I have a problem with Nintendont, I follow a YouTube tutorial to install Nintendont Wii U with Wup Installer GX2 (to get Nintendont directly on Wii U menu), well the installation with Wup Installer work but when I launch Nintendont I got a black screen ... It's not an install problem, I already reinstalled it 5 times but never changed. I can't find Nintendont on the Homebrew App Store, so I don't know if I have a bad version of the software. Somebody can help me ? Thanks :D
nintendont is not a wiiu app its a wii app so it will never be on the appstore, you need to have an sdcard with nintendont files

Hi there,

I'm trying to get the Wii u pro controller to work. I have it synced with the Wii U prior to starting Nintendont via the red button. I see the light come on for player 1, but when I start my game, it deactivates. What could be the cause? I am using the wii u GamePad and not the Wii Remote + nunchuck when I start the game (while also having Wii u pro controller connected.)
you can press A while ingame to sync back wiiu pro(is it official? fake/3rd partys might not work at all) also if you use the gamepad wiiupro will always be player 2.Make sure native is set to off to and maxpads is set to 4.

turn on wiiu widescreen on the settings and then force widescreen too, while wiiu widescreen is compatible with every game(stretched 4:3) force widescreen is not it will work on some games and fail or crash others.

Probably because people with a Wii U would just automatically go to the Wii U section and look for it? Especially now with the Wii U forwarder and the ability to install specific games to the Wii U?

You can run GCN natively in Wii but Nintendont is the "only" way (apart from Devolution) to run GCN iso for WiiU; so it is more important for WiiU users.
Since it was first created here and many websites/tutorials already have links pointed to here, it is not good to move it to Wii section now, a place holder was created in the Wii section to redirect ppl here instead.

no it isnt ...
IS based on NAMCO SYSTEM es3
PC based system with nvidia GPU and linux (probably debian) with OPENGL

you can already see it straight off the bat since its HD wich wii or gc dont even output.

Mario Kart Arcade DX runs on Windows 7 Embedded instead of Linux. I'm not sure if all the ES3 machines use it or just that one.
 
hello can anyone tell me if Doshin is working for them? My game seemed to rip fine but when I try it in Nintendont it freezes both wii u and vwii mode

the game appears to work fine without any patches but once I enabled force widescreen it did indeed crash for me and I noticed it did not even apply any widescreen so the automatic patch did not work for this title, so in this update I added a proper widescreen patch and did some other things too.
-proper widescreen patch for doshin the giant
-when forcing to progressive or any other 60hz mode, added proper 60hz patch to the pal versions of doshin the giant and luigis mansion

Since we're talking about Widescreen patches...
Have you seen the PR I made about the Resident Evil games in Github, Fix?
I wanted to know what is your opinion on it and if it should be handled differently or if it's okay like that.
