if u have one drive using ustealth (the virtual wii one), one drive housing wii u content, and an sd card with ur gamecube games, it will work. it won't work otherwise.
thats becuase nintendont will only mount the sd card since its where the games are ... that way will always work since nintendont doesnt even use usb code :P.

yes, that's the way I set mine up. even if using ustealth, the games r still being loaded from usb, so it will fail unless using an sd card. :)

you aare 100% sure your hdd/flashdrive is fat32 formated correctly? lots of times they had hidden partitins and such.
If it had, then part of my drive would have a unrecognized or unformated part (like my rednand sd). It is fat32 formated but I'm not sure of the size of cluster's (think it's 64k (<- heard that 32k are better? don't know)).

(No I don't have 2 USB plugged in. I may try with sd but not now.)

well, if he can't play games from usb, there's very little choice. even no sound would be better than being unable to play any games. plus, it will at least rule out the nintendont setup.

I have a issue guys so I hope you can help me.

Im using Nintendont to play Tales of Symphonia on my Japanese Wii. I use PS3 SixAxis controller, it went smooth for about my 16th hour. Then one day, I loaded the game as usual and using the same controller, after I entered a battle, the game act weird, the game suddenly stop responding to my controls, but the AI is still fighting as usual it's just the character im controlling doesnt respond to my controls anymore, then im confused whats happening so checked the LED indicators on PS3 controller and is lit with #1 on the light, im spamming Square button and still not responding, after about 10 seconds or more, there's a disc spinning icon appeared in top right corner of the screen and then whoala the system froze for good. Reset the wii and guess what, the controller wont work anymore. It still lights up the 4 LED light as usual as it was charging, the controller doesnt register to nintendont anymore for some reason. Tried the controller using PC (with SCP Driver installed on the system and it detected it as usual as standard PS3 controller connected via USB, it connects fine via BT as well) tried it with PS3 and yes it works just fine, but doesnt work anymore with my Wii. I tried my 2nd controller (another SixAxis controller) and yes the 2nd controller works just fine. Tried plugging the other controller again and it doesnt work at all, tried using different app that support PS3 controller with a emulator, and yes the controller works just fine, switch to nintendont, still same issue.

What I tried so far:

- re copy the files (even went as far as reformatting the SD Card), still same issue
- all games stored on SD card, so I copied the files over USB and see if it makes any difference (actually the intro video is sluggish on USB), and no still same issue.
- Unplugged anything on USB slot, except the PS3 USB connection (switch between USB slots) and a SD card, still same issue,
- pinched the reset button on the controller, same issue

The PS3 SixAxis controller im using are all original/authentic, as this came from a PS3 bundle that I bought at launch.
Using Wii Japanese Menu v4.3 with 64GB SDXC card Sandisk, with 2TB Portable HDD.

delete any controller.ini or ninconfig.bin on your usb and sd becuase ps3/ps4 controller can sometimes corrupt those inis and sometimes they also need a reset themselves.

http://ccm.net/faq/35811-playstation-3-how-to-reset-your-controller

but try deleting the controller ini and the config bin, if that doesnt work try redownloading nintendont doll wich could be corrupted somehow.

recopy files didnt work, fresh vanilla copy
pinched the reset button on the controller several times, didnt work, it made my controller needs to be paired again with my PC as it was reset.

Im really confuse, I cant really rule out the controller as broken since it still does work fine with PS3 and PC both wired and wireless.

i didnt ask you to recopy i asked you to delete controller.ini or ninconfig.bin.

is the wii remote supposed to work by itself? 'cause I always have to plug in a nunchuk to get the controller to respond. that's one thing I don't get about nintendont.

^ I actually copy the vanilla installation, I didnt recopy anything, just a vanilla installation, I even started the game as a New Game since my save files is not present.

wiimote doesnt work by itself, only with nunchuck or CC attached.

wiimote works as usual with nunchuck or Classic Controller.

At first, yes I need to enable pad support on the settings, but after enabling it, nothing happens, it just doesnt work at all. USing wiimote works fine, tried 2nd PS3 controller works just fine.

I dont know if this is related. The Wii is shutting down it self for some reason after I plugged the controller that im having issues with (after a few seconds the Wii shutdown) so as long as I dont use that controller the Wii works just fine (although this automatic shutdown only happens when I plug that controller and Nintendont is running).

thanks, guys. I wasn't sure if it was just me or not. it's great that the wii u pro controller works with nintendont. that's the best controller I've ever seen. wireless, perfect grip, and ridiculous battery life. it's miles above the ps4, not sure about xbone controllers as I've never even touched one.

Hey, so I don't know if I've asked this before, as it's been a few weeks since I posted to any forums and there's been a big football party with booze since then, but will Nintendont ever support a Stealth drive and a Wii U drive? This is the only thing that really bugs me about Nintendont. I want to have both my drives plugged into the back and hidden from sight in my setup, with the GameCube adapter plugged into the front. As it stands, I have to keep the Wii U drive in the front and switch it for the adapter when I want to play GC games via Nintendont.

If it's never going to be solved, can someone tell me of a vWii GC loader that can be run from USBLoader GX and doesn't spaz out with multiple drives plugged in?

I received my Gamecube Adapter for Wii U today, and it seems like Nintendont doesn't like when Skylanders portal is plugged in USB while trying to start a game (I use USB Loader GX as a GUI for Nintendont). It sounds like it tries to use the portal as a USB-HID...

Is there a way to prevent other USB devices to interfer with Nintendont, besides unpluging them?

I'm on vWii mode from my Wii U.

Thanks

your ps3 controller got "stuck" you need to do a clean reset of it using this tutorial not just clicking on sync.

there are only 2 gc loaders that work on vwii nintendont and devolution and devolutin requires you to have a BC wii and original games disc so you csn check them and them suing some anti pirate stuff to pass those permissions to the wiiu so good luck with that, im guessing discnnecting one usb device is way too much trouble for some people, just go trough devolution steps then.

nintendont doesnt like usb devices that arent hid or the simple hdd with games so yeah unless the usb code is completely rewritten just unplug the skylanders portal.

This is an amazing way of playing Gamecube again!
My wii disc-drive broke a while ago and I wasn't able to play Gamecube games.
When I found this I was jumping in joy I could finally play GC games again and I was happy.

Nintendont freezes on startup with a black screen if a Shuriken USB( USB gecko SE (clone) ) is present in memory slot B. Works fine with the Shuriken USB removed. An error message instead of a freeze would be better.
