I love Nintendont.......I used Devolution more in the beginning because it was very stable and I had a full library to rip and use with it.......but since its improvement Nintendont is easily the launcher of choice.

Ok so I know this is a stupid question, but now that WiiU is hacked will we ever get a Nintendont that supports the gamepad as a controller? Nintendo are just idiots for never releasing GC VC. The games look just awesome on the small screen and I want so badly to just be able to pick the thing up and play.

I know some are working on hacking the vWii launch wrapper that supports gamepad (from games like xeno and pandora) so asking the experts here (you know who you are) will we ever get Nintendont fully operational on our gamepads?
when they can get gamepad acess on vwii nintendont can add it to the controller list, until then no.

Just in theory, how possible is it to enable online gameplay using a similar method as the old GCARS-CS homebrew?
nintendont doesnt have any networking code as off yet so until then nothing network related will work.

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time seems to be stuck on Accessing The Memory Card... At the beginning. Anyone knows what can be done?

EDIT: set mem block size to lowest, problem solved :)

Does the Pokkén Tournament Pro Pad work with Nintendont? I guess no, but I have to ask it anyways to be sure.

Maybe? It looks like it's USB so if it's HID it should work. However, the description I'm looking at says it only works with that game so it may require a custom controller ini.

And while trying to run a gc game throught USBLoaderGX,Nintendont print "CheckForMultiGameAndRegion() Failed"
I have no idea why this is happening when loading Nintendont through USB Loader GX. I haven't been able to reproduce it.

I'm going to add more debugging to CheckForMultiGameAndRegion() to see exactly what's going on. I'll post a test build once it's ready. (probably tomorrow?)

tryed running nintendont directly from the homebrew channel instead of neing trough usbloader gx?
That's what I done first but it's unable to access the device.

Edit:

So, when I load it directly with HBC,it print "Warning: USB FAT device could not be opened." and when loading throught USBLoaderGX "CheckForMultiGameAndRegion() failed."

you sure you have the games path correct? isos are named "game.iso"?

something like usb:games/mario sunshine/game.iso

this needs teh correct path.

if u have one drive using ustealth (the virtual wii one), one drive housing wii u content, and an sd card with ur gamecube games, it will work. it won't work otherwise.

edit: and, yes, that's the error that occurs with 2 hdds plugged in which would include flash drives. I'm not sure y nintendont can't use 2 hdds, but wiixplorer can't either. it's probably some sort of limitation with the hardware.

I think you only get like 425gb on a series s hard drive, so you get 1, 2 next gen games max
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, so you need to have another series s if you wanna play more games?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Nuh you buy extra HD n add to it, but not cheap
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, how can a console have more than 1 hard drives?
  • MysticStarlight @ MysticStarlight:
usb expansion? I know the PS4 can do this
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@MysticStarlight, oh Yea I recall my PS3 can do that
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    Modded ofc
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
Speaking of my PS3 i havent downloaded any games yet bc my wifi is too slow
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
and also because blackouts here are very common and that could damage the console
  • MysticStarlight @ MysticStarlight:
Do you have a surge protector or an UPS?
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea but to play the next gen games, you must have those games on internal, or buy the official ssd expansion cards, which are expensive
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@MysticStarlight, dunno what each one of those are
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@MysticStarlight, my PS3 was already modded when my dad bought it for me and my brother
  • MysticStarlight @ MysticStarlight:
A surge protector is a device that protects your electronics from fluctuations. I recommend having your console plugged into one of those
  • MysticStarlight @ MysticStarlight:
An UPS is even better because it has an internal battery that keeps your system on even if the power goes out, but it's much more expensive obviously
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@MysticStarlight, oh i recall seeing one in some in the houses of some relatives, including my dad's apartment
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@MysticStarlight, although whatever device we plug into them stops getting power anyways lol
  • MysticStarlight @ MysticStarlight:
    that's weird
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@MysticStarlight, and oh i was talking about ups
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    No not that one
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
Surge protectors are what i was talking about
