that is wrong, its enabled by default. also "some games don't like this setting" is also completely wrong, its a very needed setting and should not be disabled at all.

as said its enabled by default, to actually disable it you would have to set "Unlock Read Speed" to On which I would not recommend because it would basically make load times be different each time you run a game, the default behaviour has a very set timing for everything so you can expect very similar loading results by default.

I cant tell you a whole list, its patched in this file which gets applied to every single game, its 1.5x faster simply because the wii processor is 1.5x faster than the gamecube one and some games dont base their times on a global time or frames but on processor ticks passed, so that file basically patches all the known tick measurements to be equal to the wii ones so the games run properly.
Whoops, I must need some sleep.

Force progressive doesn't work with, they still show up as interlaced
GXNtsc240Int
GXNtsc240IntAa
GXNtsc480IntAa

It does however work with and switch to progressive using
GXNtsc240Ds - progressive already, no way of knowing unless we also try forcing interlaced.
GXNtsc240DsAa - progressive already, no way of knowing unless we also try forcing interlaced.
GXNtsc480IntDf - switches to progressive with force progressive.
GXNtsc480Int - switches to progressive with force progressive.
GXNtsc480Prog - progressive already, no way of knowing unless we also try forcing interlaced.
GXNtsc480ProgAa - progressive already, no way of knowing unless we also try forcing interlaced.

In regard to forcing interlaced that could be set if force progressive is set to off, that would help
for the s/nes games in Animal Crossing and others that use 240/288p on hdtvs that don't support 240/288p though it'd probably be better if it forced it as 480/576i rather than 240/288i because it's most likey the case that the tv doesn't support interlaced at 240/288i as well.

Force (Deflicker) should be also using GXNtsc480ProgSoft when force progressive, NTSC is set.

I'm using one drive for both Wii and GC games but the GC ones won't work... Can't give more info atm

I have to turn on my Wii first... Hold on
if the games arent on the crrect path they wont show up and from what you are saying im guessing you are using a loader like usbloader gx or something and the gc games dont show up and gc games might just be disabled, try running nintendont directly from the homebrew channel instead of trough usbloder gx or another loader.

Nintendont says no fat device found
you sure the hdd is fat32 formated? and teh fat32 partition is the active and primary partition? also take some pictures of your entire hdd/sd setup the root, inside the games folder and then inside a game folder itself seeing the iso and such.

I'm guessing it's where the partition is on the drive or there's a hidden one on it.

Is the FAT32 the only one on the drive? If your Wii games are on WBFS or NTFS that's not necessary. You can use Wii Backup Manager to copy your Wii games as WBFS files that will fit on FAT32.

Also, as pedro702 said, flash drives aren't the best storage medium for Wii homebrew. Some work, some don't and some partially work. It seems to depend on what USB APIs they implement.

Any chance of getting saves on a separate device from game images with the recent changes? If it's because of having two partition tables in memory I have an idea for a workaround.

the drive have both formats NTFS is for my Wii games and fat32 is for the GC

Hmm, I'm not sure what the problem could be then unless the FAT32 partition isn't marked as a primary partition.

NTFS actually wastes space for Wii games if you're using ISO images.

Try mounting the FAT32 partition in WiiXplorer first then return back to Nintendont, I know sometimes USB Loader GX doesn't list my Wii games properly and falls back to GC + Nand instead of just GC + Wii, but mounting first in WiiXplorer seems to do something to help keep the partition mounted / active.
