File size was like 1.5 GB when I first checked, that means it's clean right?
Nope, a bad dump can have the same size. It's just that when it was dumped, it had troubles reading some data from the disc. That's why it's generally a good idea to check the MD5 checksum against sites like GameTDB.

The tools that can "read" Wii and GameCube discs using certain LG drives do so by using an undocumented debug feature that dumps the raw data buffer on error, so it isn't really reading per-se. Also it's really slow, since the drive attempts to re-read the sector multiple times because it thinks there's an error.

Alternatively, it's possible to add support for reading DVD-R backups through a USB drive, but I'm not sure if there's a point. HDDs are physically smaller than a DVD-ROM drive, hold a lot more data, and are much faster.

Hmmm, I didn't know DVD are slower than HDD, I have a question, but I was thinking, is it possible to use it on any USB Loaders (USB Loader GX, Wiiflow, etc) where it can dump original and backup (DVD-R/+R DL) game disc from USB DVD and backup and store games to USB devices (USB flash, external SD, and USB HDD)?

Question, i tried doing a CFG for my USB Pad (Some generic one, transparent blue, handles opaque black, Turbo and Clear buttons, kind of looks like a PS2 one VID=0006 PID=0079) But Nintendont simply loads up like if no controller.ini was there.

And how can i map the Stick to the D-Pad while having analog on? My left stick broke and i need to use D-Pad and Right Stick at the same time (Metroid Prime).

I have a SmartJoy PS2 to USB controller

This one here

I am on 4.411

I have tried to work out a controller.ini file.

I have rolled it, and installed it on SD:\

HIDTEST picks it up I can see the the new controls all being picked up when I have loaded it back in there.

However when I then run it on Nintendont it crashes sayng "Returining to loader"

I then delete the controller.ini file and Nintendont is fine.

Please Help!

My controller.ini file:

Sega Chihiro games work on an original xbox with a 128mb ram upgrade since it's like an arcade version of xbox hardware so there is that for those games. Closest thing i have heard of for Sega Naomi/2 games is making consolized versions of the arcade hardware such as adding tv outputs and controller ports to them.
I have a modded Xbox but sadly I don't know anything about upgrading RAM on Xbox, anyway it's a bit too late for that now, I wonder if these games can be converted to work on PC somehow as they use DirectX as a base.

that attitude ...
also you said iit was 1.5gb iso so your using a mac or something?
http://www.mediafire.com/download/5y3tfpoil433rij/MD5_SHA-1+Utility.exe
get this open your iso on it and wait afew seconds then copy paste the md5 values here.

the only thing i see that can make ssbb unstable is force widescreen since some games have random crashes with force widescreens even tough ssbm does have a coustom widescreen hack.
Keep in mind that if he is using a Mac he can't use that app.

A Mac will report the file size as 1.46GB which is exactly the same size as 1.36GB reported by Windows. The reason they are different is how each OS calculates file sizes. Windows does 1KB = 1024 Bytes where a Mac 10.6+ uses 1KB = 1000 Bytes.

Getting the MD5 on a Mac is easier then it is on Windows as an MD5 hash calculator is built-in.

1. In Finder press Command + U to open the Utility Folder.
2. Open Terminal
3. Type "md5 " without the quotes but with the space after md5.
4. Drag ISO into Terminal Window.
5. Press Enter/Return.
6. Compare to redump.org.
7. Profit.

then how would you change the visors on metroid prime? since visors change on the dpad and without visors change you cant finish the game either you need the visors for certain parts of the game too so yeah its kinda pointless.

I'm not an expert at this so I'll say I'm using vWii and I haven't done anything to my IOS.

Download the tool in my sig, drop your game disc image on it and see if it says "found" and quit screaming at people while asking them to help you.

EDIT: I didn't see you have a Mac. You'll have to use ccfman2004's instructions above. I'll try to make a version of GCVerify that will run on the Mac when the next Visual Studio comes out that supports Xamarin better.

Last edited by GreyWolf,
just did some more triforce cleanups, thats all.
-fixed a small bug with the mario karts, after entering the test menu the wheel init would not work anymore when leaving it
-only allow the service button getting pressed when you are in the test menu, it just freezes up the game for a second otherwise
-updated internal triforce game versions, now the mario karts have the build date as version and the unknown f-zero ax revision is now set to revision d

if you have controller.ini or ninconfig on the root of your usb/hdd try deleting them, also nintendont version number would be good.

I have updated just 2 minutes ago, i think its 4.112
Also D-Pad up or whatever is used to switch could be mapped to L2
And im also using this for SMS, as the camera can be quite annoying and that stuff, and Smash for the Smash (How redundant :V) attacks and L2 taunts.

So will you tell me how to do so?

on wii no on Wiiu(vwii) yes but i try deleting the controller.ini file on the root not the controller folder same for ninconfig, sometimes those files corrupt and break nintendont.
